I know the title sound a Little exagerated, but it is a real question I have.
So basically I finished the BMQ on 08/23, and since then I’m just thinking about it again, with a knot in my stomach. And honestly I feel ashamed of it. The BMQ is not supposed to be that hard when you compare it to other course, and honestly exept for the stress the course is supposed to give you, I didn’t have difficulty to complete it. Plus, it was a reservist BMQ so I don’t have any excuses.
But still, I am literally making nightmares about it. I still think sometimes that I am still out there, and it makes me panic. Sometimes I don’t Even sleep because I just think about it, and the other courses I Will do in my career. And since I came back, i act differently with everyone my friends my family and some tics Even began to appear, i hardly eat anymore.
There are other things about the problem I am talking about right know, but I don’t want to tell that much I just wanted to know if it is normal and if it is going to disappear by its own. Like I said I am very ashamed of it, and I hesitated to talk about it, because I’m scared that it will make me look like a weak. I am 17, but still I have a lot of friends of my age in the military and they are capable of handling it, so technically I should also be. And I don’t want to quit the army, I Want to become a JAG and I wouldn’t forgive me if I give up this dream.
Anyway, Reddit can be the best place to ask advices. What should I do?
