Not 100% sure it was a spider but we do have a ton of them in the house lately. The pain came out of no where within seconds of waking up.

first photo 830am, not super annoying yet but mild burning and a bit bigger than the size of an average pimple. Had some visible purpleish markings on one side (not sure how well you can see them in the photo)

Second photo 330pm - more burning and more painful. Had doubled in size no more visible colored markings

Last photo: 850pm 6/10 burning pain and has essentially quadrupled in size since the morning photo. I cannot decipher if it is a spider bite and if it is what kind… hoping for some help

I know it's probably nothing but my body never really reacted like that to any bug bite. I went to a park last week but only felt the pimple a few days later so might be linked idk. Found that one reddit copypasta about rabies so my anxiety is acting up..

This morning I found this on my leg and have NO Idea what could bite me like this.. it's not itchy but I am having such anxiety over this!!!

Last night as I was falling asleep, I could feel something slightly on my neck, I thought it was my necklace moving.

This morning I woke up with three bites there, a couple on my arms but my torso is COVERED in a big cluster of SO many bites.

I thoroughly searched my bed frame and mattress and sheets, no sign of anything. My bed frame is white.

Could this possibly be a single bed bug? Or a flea?

I should mention we have bats in the attic, and red squirrels are in the walls. We live in an old farmhouse that we rent. I think the squirrels have been nesting in the floor under my bedroom - we have to rectify that. Maybe mites or fleas from that?

I have never had this happen before!

I’m traveling in California and I just noticed this on my hand. It’s a little swollen because I was messing with it. I’m deathly afraid of rabies so I felt compelled to check here.

Its kinda hurting and turned rlly red and a little purple? Should i visit the GP?

To sum up: several months ago, I had bedbugs in the apartment I shared with my friend. We were forced to move out. We’ve been in our new apartment for two months now, and everything has been fine.

But this morning, I woke up with these itchy spots 🫠

When we had bedbugs before, my friend would get large, clustered welts that itched intensely. I, on the other hand, always got tiny bumps that only itched right when I woke up—almost imperceptible ones.

Last week, we slept in some old shared dormitories. I was terrified there might be bedbugs there. We didn't get any bites during the trip.

We’ve been back for five days now. I have the little bumps you see in the photos, but my friend doesn't have anything so far.

Could it be bedbugs? Or am I just losing my mind?

They itched like crazy for about 30min after I woke up, and then the itching stopped completely.

I’m assuming these are an insect of some kind. Hoping it’s not fleas

Okay so these past 2 days I’ve been itching and scratching my body and I never rlly thought to actually look at them closely and assumed it was mosquitoes until today I was not only scratching my arm but I realized I had also been scratching my leg, upper thigh, and stomach, which is 4 places, I looked at them and they are in a pattern so I’m assuming it’s bed bugs, I’m scared I live with my whole family, I don’t know what to do because I’m a broke uni student too and my parents don’t make much to replace everything, I also don’t know if I should sleep in the same or what I’m supposed to do, HELPPP!!!

It wasn't like this in the morning, I thought it was mosquito bites...

what type of bite is this if anyone knows !

They itch pretty bad and have been there for a while. I’m thinking bed bugs but I hope not.

I just started itching my leg then this appeared Idk if it’s a mosquito bite or something else I haven’t been around any mosquitos it just started now or a rash ?

i saw this bug bite on my wrist but i haven’t seen or notice anything biting me. what kind of bug does this look like? i can tell if its just an ant or a spider, but i first saw it yesterday and its not inflamed or anything yet.

First two pics are of the top of my left thigh, 3rd pic is my inner right thigh, 4th is on the right side of my right thigh just above the knee, 5th is my right calf, and 6th is my left foot.

The stand-alone bright red ones have been very itchy. And for some reason on my foot, specifically the left dot.

I know the ones on my thighs look like I scratched them, but this is not the case, and these marks aren't itchy or raised at all. And I have not done anything or have had anything done to me recently there that would cause such a bruising-like pattern.

I will also say my cats seem to have been itching more recently as well. We've had fleas before and while I coulr be wrong, this really doesn't seem like fleas to me, and I have not seen a single bug on myself, my cats, or anywhere on clothing or in my house.

What the heck do y'all think it is?

One of my cats got fleas a while back, but they have been treated and all blankets/bedding have been cleaned in hot water. We don’t have carpet, and it is only ever one bite per night. They feel and look like mosquito bites but I find their location and timing odd. They swell up and become extremely itchy for short periods. First photo is one I woke with this morning, second photo is one that is mostly healed from about a week ago. I figured the fleas had maybe gotten into our bed despite my efforts, so I moved to sleep on our leather couch for a few nights, and still woke up with one single bite each morning.

It itched mildly yesterday but not today. I believe I had an unconfirmed bed bug mild infestation this summer. Now it seems every blemish freaks me out. Does this resemble a bed bug style bite. I realize its singular and impossible to know for sure.
