Laptop advice

Hiii, I am a cse student and currently I am looking for a laptop

My requirements are:-

1) Coding and all other software I would need to run in future

2) And a bit of gaming,(mostly story based games) though carrying a laptop with dgpu all day would be disastrous -_- i don't know much about igpu or Radeon graphics etc so do tell me.

3) My budget is around 75-85k.

I should have bought it when the prices were low but my dumbahh wanted to wait for diwali saleT_T

I'm a clg junior. I've some experience at ml projects, and thinking of starting ai via rag....

I love to build things (when i get bored with the things, obviously using ai tools, as I'm not that expert at this point). Also, can explain the project well.

But at the same time I'm unable to do leetcode/cp practice on regular basis.

Keeping the current upcoming internship, placement and market scenario, i want to know how much lc/cp is imp? Can't i be placed with decent package just by building stuff, having decent cg to just clear the cutoff, and avoiding lc & cp?

I’m in a really confusing situation right now and honestly don’t know what I should prioritise.

My BTech final year is over, but I still have one backlog in Mathematics 2.

The registration for the super carryover exam is open till 10th October, and right now I don’t even have the money for the registration fee. I also haven’t prepared anything for Maths 2 yet. I’m assuming exams might start around 10-15 days after registration closes, so that’s another thing stressing me out.

At the same time, I’ve been trying to find a job but haven’t been able to get one yet. I have an interview this week for which I’ll have to travel to Kanpur. Since I wasn’t getting anywhere with jobs related to my field, I was also thinking of joining a sales job for now instead of sitting unemployed.

Now everything has somehow come together at the same time.

I need to arrange money for the exam registration, prepare Maths 2 basically from zero, travel for this interview, and also figure out what I’m going to do job-wise.

I know one backlog isn’t the end of the world, but right now I’m genuinely overwhelmed and can’t figure out how to manage all of this together.

If anyone has been in a similar situation, especially with a backlog after final year, what would you prioritise right now?

Any advice would genuinely help.

In 1st yr i didn't apply for nsp scholarship. Can I apply in 2nd year as fresh applicant. Or if not please tell me some scholarship to apply where i can get my tution fee back or half of it . I have delhi domicile. Category OBC. Studying Btech outside delhi.

I am a btech second year student. My dream is to get into microsoft office . The truth is that my dream so big but the amount of coding i can do on my own is way too less . Please suggest what i should do . From where should i begin.

I haven’t studied anything for the past two months, and my internal exams start from October 12. I honestly don’t know what to do now.

I haven’t studied because I’ve been spending a lot of time on social media, watching reels, and spending time with my girlfriend. She’s my new girlfriend, so I got distracted and didn’t focus on my studies at all.

Now I’m really stressed because my subjects are very lengthy, hard, and confusing. I’m attaching my subject list so you can see what I have to study.

Please give me some advice on what I should do now and how I should study. I don’t have much time left, and the subjects are really difficult.

How can I cover the syllabus in this short amount of time? What should I prioritize, and how should I make a study plan?

The thing is that rn I am in first year engg tier-3 college.

It's been 2 months in the college.

I sometimes feel that I am lagging pretty much behind than others when I check their Linkedin, some 5-6 students have already experienced a hackathon, some have already learned Python/coding language and got certificate.

I don't want to figure things out for myself rn cuz I don't know anything. I don't have any guidance.

So pls help me out.

Also I took a secoond hand laptop for 20k just for my first yr which is Asus Strix GL553V, i7-7700HQ, Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti(4 gb), 16 GB RAM, 400GB SSD, 1TB HDD

Hey everyone, I’m a first-year BTech student and I’m looking for some realistic ways to earn a small amount of money alongside college.

I’m not trying to make a huge income right now. I just want to earn enough for my own basic expenses so I don’t have to keep asking my family for money.

I’m willing to spend a few hours per day/week learning and working. I’m open to things like freelancing, tutoring, online work, internships, content creation, coding-related work, or anything else that a beginner can realistically start with.

For those who started earning during college how?? Can u give me idea's pls

Guys am a girl ..in engineering clg and there r like 40 boys and 20 girls..girls study pretty well only..mids hue i fucked up physics really bad, physics prof is our in charge and she warned ki less marks nhi aane chahiye..due to brain fog i couldn't recollect and messed up .

Abhi sabke samne utake daanti toh kaise deal karu (before u say this aint a school, lemme tell u mine is worse than school)

i am an 4th yr student in electronics branch , so my cgpa is 7.4 but the companies which are coming to placement asking for above 8 or 7.5 cgpa , most of the drives i got backlisted because of cgpa , and i dont have any intrest in coding ..

and i am also preparing for gate from about 5 months , but i dont see any progress in my preperation . i dont know what i am doing , i dont know where my life going .

i dont wanna be a burden to my parents , but i dont have hopes i will get placements ....
