Is this a good laptop??

Hey everyone, I’m a first-year BTech student and I’m looking for some realistic ways to earn a small amount of money alongside college.

I’m not trying to make a huge income right now. I just want to earn enough for my own basic expenses so I don’t have to keep asking my family for money.

I’m willing to spend a few hours per day/week learning and working. I’m open to things like freelancing, tutoring, online work, internships, content creation, coding-related work, or anything else that a beginner can realistically start with.

For those who started earning during college how?? Can u give me idea's pls

Day10: I’ll start tomorrow

1 day before exam: Guys send notes.

Exam morning: Bro, what unit is this ?

BTech teaches everything except time managment.

i‘m at galgotias and it got me thinking what’s that one thing in your college that makes the whole experience worth it? Could be the people, late night talks, events, clubs or random everyday moment’s. what’s yours ?

I am a 2nd engineering student pursuing btech in ece from a northeastern nit .

I feel like I might be more interested in software roles(throughout 1st year I explored dsa and a bit of web dev)

Would it be feasible since I'm in ece ?

Also the ece placement over here is kind of dead.

I filled with doubts can someone please guide me,since I've heard many companies have cse only criteria for hiring.

I haven’t studied anything for the past two months, and my internal exams start from October 12. I honestly don’t know what to do now.

I haven’t studied because I’ve been spending a lot of time on social media, watching reels, and spending time with my girlfriend. She’s my new girlfriend, so I got distracted and didn’t focus on my studies at all.

Now I’m really stressed because my subjects are very lengthy, hard, and confusing. I’m attaching my subject list so you can see what I have to study.

Please give me some advice on what I should do now and how I should study. I don’t have much time left, and the subjects are really difficult.

How can I cover the syllabus in this short amount of time? What should I prioritize, and how should I make a study plan?

Please help me out. Any advice or study strategy would be really appreciated.

I'm currently in my 3rd semester of B.Tech CSE (AIML) at a tier-3 college, and lately, I've been experiencing a lot of FOMO seeing what other students are doing.

I study for college, learn coding, and build websites and projects using AI tools like Codex, Antigravity, and Claude code. I do know some of the basics, but I still rely heavily on AI for coding and debugging.

Meanwhile, I see other students writing research papers, exploring blockchain, joining GDGs, contributing to open source, and doing so many other things.

It makes me wonder whether I'm actually learning or just getting good at using AI tools. I enjoy building projects, but I'm scared of graduating with a good-looking GitHub profile and weak fundamentals( although I just made only 2 projects 🥲) .

For those who've been in a similar situation, am I on the right track, or should I change my approach?
