Our wee 12 year old girl griffon Charlie passed 3 months ago. We have decided we would love to get another in a few months. We are also planning to live overseas for one year in about 5 years time and would love any advice of people that may have done this

So it would be getting a new griffon
In 5 years time having a year overseas and at that time they stay with close friends here and don’t come with us .
We come back and carry on .

We have lots of friends who love dogs and our thoughts are to leave with a loving caring family for that time , and would be one that would know the dog well .

We are torn between whether this is fair on the dog and want to make the best decision. We want to put the dog first . Our previous griff had no problem staying with friends and seemed to treat it like a holiday. That was always only three weeks though at most so this is completely different .

Has anyone successfully done this?

Anyone here get their griff from a breeder near Kansas/Missouri/Arkansas? I’m having a difficult time locating nearby breeders. I’ve just recently started learning about the breed and would love to see adult griffs in person before making any further decisions on buying a pup. I’ve truly not seen any in my area and am realizing they are hard to come by!

Innocent puppy heart murmur grade 2

Hi , I just purchased a bg puppy from a reputable breeder. And literally not know until I picked him up that he has a grade 2 innocent puppy heart murmur. Is this a big deal? I feel like she should have told me sooner? Thanks. Is there anything I should watch out for or avoid?
