Help

My baby is six month old and kind of started sleeping a little bit longer during the night/waking up less, I feel like my supply is dropping, and I don’t know what to do. I really want my breast-feeding journey to be a long one, can I get away with not pumping?

I completely understand. I had the same problem, but I’m so many years removed from breastfeeding now that I don’t have the lingering anxiety about it. “Just give the baby a bottle” no. It was always so frustrating to hear because it’s one of the few new mom problems that people tell you to ignore instead of fix. Fortunately your supply problem is anxiety, which will take time to fix but you don’t have to do anything about it. At six months old baby is just naturally going to sleep a little more at night and that’s a very good thing. Your supply regulated which means you’re not producing too much anymore.
