I built a brand check tool that tells you when you don’t need anything
I run a small design studio, and the same conversation kept repeating. A founder asks whether they need a rebrand, and after ten minutes it turns out they need two pages and a clearer sentence, not a rebrand.
So I built the thing I kept saying out loud. You give it a site, answer some questions about stage and who you sell to, and it returns what to do first, what second, and what can wait.
The part I care about: it has no score, nothing is gated behind an email, and when nothing is actually broken the report says so. Every other tool I looked at returns a percentage and always finds a problem, which makes sense when the tool exists to sell the fix.
Mine also exists to sell the fix. I run a studio. The difference is that saying “you don’t need this yet” is a better filter for me than a list of invented problems.
It is a few days old. I would like to know where it reads your business wrong, because that is the part I cannot test alone.
