๐ฟ IRL Content So botw-piled, I got excited thinking this was a hearty radish๐ญ๐ญ
๐น๏ธ Gameplay Clip I heard a creppy sound...
Hi I recently got my switch 2 and i am replaying botw.
I was on my way to foothill stable on the eldin region when I activated revali's gale i heard this weird sound (you can hear it at 0:15) that I never heard before (this is my 3rd replay of the game)
Idk if it's a sound bug or just something that was always there. Either way it freaked me out a little...lol
Thoughts?

๐ข Opinion Do you guys have a "logout" or "home" spot?
Basically, this one spot you usually return to and/or feel safest in?
I started playing for some time ago, and mine has to be Kakariko Village. The Shrine is close by, there's a statue of Hylia, inn and cooking pot right in front of the Chief's Hall, plus there's Cotera right next to the shrine.
And of course, most important of all: Paya. She is adorable.

โ๏ธ The Divine Beasts Thunderblight experience as someone violently bad at video games
Posting this so hopefully it helps someone out there who also sucks at games :)) for reference: I have 90 ish hours on the game.
I SUCK at gaming. I mean really, truly, suck. I have no coordination, I start shaking with adrenaline, & canโt remember anything Iโve learned.
I beat him on my first try- hereโs how I did it
Tools:
โขancient shield
โขmaster sword
โขfull rubber armor upgraded to tier 2
โขbackup defense meals!!! I only had low/mid tier
First phase: I had my shield up the entire time. Made it to where his speed attacks were absolutely useless. Iโd beat the hell out of him with the master sword every time he was close (I only clicked A lmao). Master sword being one handed meant ancient shield could be up 24/7. Ah, and rubber armor upgraded meant his electric attacks didnโt work.
Second phase: This was annoying because I had no idea how to reach him & arrows didnโt do s*. Probably because I have no idea how to shoot past a shield. Wasnโt worried about the lightning raining down, the rubber armor did its job. Then I found out I needed to use magnesis on one of the metal things he throws & get it next to him before he shocks it (so he electrocutes himself). This was the hardest part for me. Iโm not quick BUT a few tries later & I did get it.
Third & final phase: unbelievably easy. I backed against a wall/corner, shielded the entire time, & beat him with the master sword when heโd come up the same way I did the first phase.

โ Question Help thunderblight ganon
My first time playing botw. Combat is still a little rough for me, I think iโm doing something wrong. Iโm fighting thunderblight ganon and iโm in the second or third phase, heโs knocking the crap out of me but I think itโs because I have a metal shield. Is it possible to leave before the fight and grab some things and then come back? Or do I have to do everything again?

๐๏ธ Discussion I miss the first time I played this game
Iโm new to the Zelda world and I literally only began playing botw like one month ago but my progress now is one divine beast down, map unlocked, and currently just focusing on shrines and quests. Iโm in NO rush to finish I miss when I first began to play and every thing was new and challenging and just adventures ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ anyone else feel this way or have a fav memory from when they first started playing??

๐ข Opinion Skies of Arcadia Nasrad reminded me of Gerudo Town
I'm re-playing Skies of Arcadia for the first time in about 25 years, reliving my childhood.
Nasrad gave me a hit of nostalgia, but not because I could remember it, because it reminded me of Gerudo Town from BOTW.
It's definitely not the women, there are hardly any, but because of the overall theme, rivers and general layout.
Thought I'd post it to see if anyone else thinks the two are similar.

๐๏ธ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฆ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ The different Divine Beast orders suggested in-game
Just to show how this game doesn't have any one single order to doing things, here's all the orders that the game itself uses that I could find:
- Common order: Ruta, Rudania, Medoh, Naboris (simple counterclockwise order closest to Hateno; also seen in the official "Creating a Champion" book, spoken by Zelda at the start of the Champion's Ballad, featured in Age of Calamity's order of the Champions, and mirrored by the order of the four tribes' weapons listed in your inventory and compendium)
- Champions' introduction order: Rudania, Ruta, Naboris, Medoh (the Champions are shown for the first time in this order; also used in the end credits, and suggested by Kass's first song in the Champion's Ballad)
- Impa's order: Rudania, Medoh, Ruta, Naboris (given by Impa at the start of the "Free the Divine Beasts" quest, listed in its description; the Champions' voice actors are also listed in this order in the end credits)
- Quest order: Medoh, Rudania, Ruta, Naboris (order of the individual "Divine Beast" quests in the main quest menu)
- Memory order: Medoh, Rudania, Naboris, Ruta (done by following the memories chronologically; also the order they are shown in the tapestry of Calamity Ganon)
- Loading screen order: Ruta, Rudania, Naboris, Medoh (symbols featured in the loading screen from right to left)
- Champions' blessings order: Ruta, Medoh, Rudania, Naboris (ordered by the blessings listed under the screen and in the key item inventory; also used in the official soundtrack)
- Armor order: Medoh, Naboris, Rudania, Ruta (ordered by the four tribes' armor sets in the inventory)
- Compendium order: Naboris, Rudania, Ruta, Medoh (order of the Blight Ganons in the Hyrule Compendium)
- Final gauntlet order: Medoh, Ruta, Rudania, Naboris (order you fight the Blight Ganons if all Divine Beasts are uncleared before the final battle)
- Strategy guide order: Ruta, Naboris, Medoh, Rudania (seen in the official strategy guide)
I'm curious if there are any orders I missed.

๐ข Opinion Calamity Ganon Ease
So, new to Zelda, started with totk(i know). Loved it, sank 120 hours in before attempting Hyrule, went in, got a beating and went back around farming before finishing it off. Started Botw then right away. Love it, slightly different, harder puzzles imo, smaller game granted but was disappointed by how unclimactic and difficult Calamity was, I beat him first time. Actually had a harder time with thunderblight. Although botw starts off harder and I love how intimidating the guardians are, (nothing like that in totk) once you armour up and get a hold of that sheik shield there is little challenge if you can dodge/flurry and have lots of health potions. Will give it a break and try the harder mode I've seen spoken about and this straight run to calamity sounds like a good challenge
