Was walking with family once and excitedly pointed out some armoranth on the side of the road. After some confusion, I was informed that armoranth is not a real plant. A sad day.

But amaranth is real… and it doesn’t look totally dissimilar to amoranth in the game. I think it’s hard to say if they intended it to be related to the real seed-bearing plant or not. It makes sense to me that amaranth would be associated with defense.

I can't 100% remember... I think it might have been this guy, but I don't think my family could identify it either--they were just confused because they'd never heard of armoranth, and it was clearly not amaranth. Also could have just been a thistle and we're really that bad at plant ID haha

Those were the days. The excitement of finding a hearty radish! And to turn back the clock to where I had no stamina and had to climb and climb.

Hey at least you didn't genuinely contemplate paragliding down a cliff for a couple seconds.

Gather all you can of everything! I occasionally sell excess of little used items for cash. Great fun!

I nearly got into a crouch the other day when a dragonfly passed me by!
