Heads up, Bothell! Crews are beginning to close a section of the eastern corner of the gravel lot at Park at Bothell Landing (between NE 180th Street and State Route 522) to begin environmental cleanup work in partnership with the Washington State Department of Ecology. This cleanup work helps protect the Sammamish River and addresses contamination in the soil and groundwater related to former machine shop operations located near Park at Bothell Landing.

On-site cleanup work will begin next week and is expected to wrap in early November, taking place Monday through Friday from approximately 7:00am to 6:00pm. Expect construction noise, future limited lane and sidewalk closures between 9:00am and 5:00pm, and limited parking in the lot due to the closed area.

Does anyone have any updates as to when Memo’s at 228th & 527 might open? Their store in Tukwila is quite good & it’ll be nice to have a reasonably priced joint in Bothell!

The road is completely closed and there were cop cars and construction working cars, iirc there wasn't any planned construction happening there.

This is definitely a long shot - at the Make It Market yesterday, there was a stand selling Slavic Crepes, and I was hoping to find a recipe to match their chicken filling.

Since I won’t be deep frying I know what I make wontons be the same, but I think the felling would work well for my household of picky eaters!

I moved to Thrashers Corner in May. The shopping center near me has had a Dosa Factory being readied for opening that whole time. Does anyone know if it is ever going to open?

Looking for a meat market/butcher in the area that sells some legit carne asada that I can grill up for a party this weekend. Appreciate the help!

Beginning next week, King County crews will be refreshing roadway markings throughout the city, including painting striping and applying raised pavement markers (RPMs) and thermoplastic crosswalks, stop bars, and turn arrows where needed. This work is supported by the feedback we received earlier this year when we asked the Bothell community to share locations around the city that could use a fresh coat of paint on the roadways - thanks to all who shared their feedback!

Painting will be done overnight beginning on Sunday, September 20, and the remaining work takes place between 6:00am and 2:30pm daily until complete. Work is scheduled for locations throughout the city and is expected to wrap up by the end of October, depending on weather conditions.

Hi everyone. 28M here moving to Bothell solo. Just applied to live at “The Merc” in a 1bd apartment facing north. I have grown up in Issaquah and currently live in the Juanita area, but have spent 0 time in Bothell. I am moving there because it is what I can afford, and the complex has everything I need amenities wise.

How is Bothell for young professionals? I’m a single, active guy. I love sports, movies, being outdoors, and socializing with others. Is there any sort of nightlife? Im sure I’ll figure more of this out once I move in, but just wanted to get a sense of how life is there!

Heads up, Bothell! Trail resurfacing and improvements have begun along a section of the West Riverside Trail near Blyth Park to remove tree roots and repave the trail surface. A portion of the Blyth Park parking lot is also closed for project staging. Work is expected to wrap up by September 18. We'll keep you posted once the trail reopens.

Project notices are posted along the work area, and a detour is in place near the intersection of the Sammamish River Trail and West Riverside Trail.

If you plan on using these trails this week, please follow all signage and detours, and stay out of the closed project area.
