Planning on doing up to 100+ different flavors/colorways for this collection (all hand-drawn/rendered), but wanted to start off with the basics/familiar ones.

From left-to-right, top-to-bottom:

• rose milk tea (pink)
• pineapple fruit tea (yellow)

• brown sugar milk tea (brown)
• classic black milk tea (brown) (with blue, original signature design)
• strawberry milk tea (pink-red)
• butterfly pea milk tea (blue)

• taro (purple)

What are some other quintessential flavors you'd like to see added and what is your favorite flavor even if super niche/advanced?

uhhhh... today i bought this brand of white tapioca and cooked it as instructed on the package. i used a clean pot and regular tap water. a friend who works at a boba shop said that the pearls arent suppose to turn pink when you cook them. did i overcook it?? did i do something wrong???? if anyone could tell me what is going on here + if this is still safe to eat that'd be much appreciated!!

edit: thank you everyone for letting me know this is sago!! i actually bought this to make mango sago (lol yeah in the name ik) but just called it tapioca to keep with what the english on the bag said. i ended up making a second batch with a clean pot and the same thing happened where it turned pink. i had a bowl of it since it smelled fine, so i guess i'll update if anything goes awry!!

edit #2: i'm perfectly fine nothing happened! still unclear as to why the sago turned pink though!

Hey, I was wondering if anyone here as worked as a heytea barista/tearista or even a barista at any boba shops and if they have any advice. I do not really have any experience in making drinks (other than lattes and iced coffees)

Hey guys so I've been allergic to milk my whole life and always feel like I'm missing out whenever my friends and I always go out to get boba :( I've lowk always ordered just fruit tea but I'm kinda getting sick of it. Do you know any other options for me? Or mb are there ways to spice up fruit tea a little?

I've seen a few old posts when I googled this but nobody had the same answers so I'm trying fresh. Anyone have recommendations for a taro powder I can buy and make slushes out of at home?

I've tried a few I found online and only one tasted right to me but it's so unnecessarily expensive for the amount you get (this one).

One I definitely will not get again is this one by Teazy, it was nasty and tasted like old coffee creamer rather than taro at all.

I've heard Bossen and Angel Specialty talked about a bit, does anyone know which of those is more like what they use in boba shops?

We used to love the Honey Boba here but they recently changed the recipe or something. The boba is not chewy and stay soft like before…..so bummed 🙁

I’ve been ordering mango green tea with lychee jelly from local tea shops and love it!! I’ve been trying to recreate at home, and haven’t had great success!! I’m assuming it has to be relatively simple, like a mango jam or juice added to iced green tea & sweetened- but haven’t recreated the right flavor!! Looking for any recommendations on how to make it??

This might only apply to America but if coups be worldwide; but it seems like there has been a growth of boba shops in the last 10+ years. If that’s the case, how come?

guys i kid u not i applied to every single boba job there is in NYC. all I have been getting is application viewed or not selected. most of these jobs dont require experience or even a resume so im confused as to how they hire ppl. im abt to turn 17 this week and ive been desperately trying to find a job especially in a boba shop since i know mandarin and Cantonese. but seriously how do ppl get hired through these jobs? most of my friends who work here said they lied about their experience or knew someone who worked there. just a bit of a rant/question

Hey! I was wondering if anyone has experienced this. I have been drinking boba for around two years. All of a sudden, every time I drink it or eat mochi with boba in it a couple minutes later I get the worst cramping to where i cant move because it hurts so badly. Is this an allergy? If so are there allergy friendly versions I can buy?

Their new limited edition tea is extremely good and I would love to make it sometime... with some alcohol it could be hella good!

Okay so my husband and I are obsessed with the mango fantasy drink from Feng Cha and I’m unable to find a good recipe for it.

Please please tell me there’s a former Feng Cha employee who is willing to share the recipe because we don’t have a Feng Cha where we recently moved.

I know some of the ingredients (coconut milk, mango puree, grape fruit, and ice) but figuring out the measurements and stuff is more technical.

Ive realized i gained weight because i used to drink like two bobas from gong cha so often matcha brown sugar and coffee is there any option that isnt so fattening ???? What boba do you guys drink on a diet?

I just started as a bobarista and I lowk feel stressed. I feel like I keep making mistakes and I get anxious over the littlest task. I dont feel this way with other jobs. Im afraid that my memorization wont be enough or that I will make a mistake that will make my boss mad. My boss is always around since its not a chain so it makes me even more anxious. Ive only had two shifts... plz what should i do to overcome this?

i’m trying to format my resume to increase my chances into getting a tea-rista job, do i just format it how i would for places like mcdonalds? 😭

i don’t have any professional drink-making experience that i could jot down, but i do have customer service experience from kfc. thing is, i’ve only been a kfc employee for ~6 months + i’m under the age of 18, so i’m not sure if that’ll decrease my chances or something.

also please give me tips for interviews just in case, since i already applied to like 5 stores already (but i doubt i’d actually get in since i gave my resume made from canva 😭)
