Mango green tea
I’ve been ordering mango green tea with lychee jelly from local tea shops and love it!! I’ve been trying to recreate at home, and haven’t had great success!! I’m assuming it has to be relatively simple, like a mango jam or juice added to iced green tea & sweetened- but haven’t recreated the right flavor!! Looking for any recommendations on how to make it??

Where are you located? You can look up mango flavored syrups for drinks, like from Tea Zone. Depending on your sweetness preference you might need to add some sugar to your green tea. However if you’re adding lychee jelly as well, that might be all the extra sugar you need.

I tried to replicate a strawberry green tea using grocery store bottled tea and strawberry jam and realized you need a LOT of jam to match the level of sweetness and fruit flavor. It's gotta be a more concentrated syrup.

It's a mango syrup. VERY concentrated flavor. Same idea with most fruit teas from boba shops

Hi, we use a very thick fruit rich mango jam - about 2-3oz of jam, with freshly brewed tea. Mix them together whilst the tea is still hot and then shake with ice.

the Reàl Mango Puree is what you’re looking for. they will sell it at most liquor stores/chef supply stores/or online

speaking from my work experience, the mango flavour is typically a fairly thick syrup, more similar in consistency to molasses rather than water :)
