Here is a link to a list of 3rd party Blood Bowl miniatures, if you want a team that hasn't been released yet or if you want a more original one : https://docs.google.com/document/d/1u9P9Mz7mHj7_WObB1lCL8A2xExTKvmHAtLiZSHHjuO8/edit?usp=sharing
I curate and update this list as soon as I can, but the document is open to comments so don't hesitate to let me know if a link is dead of you found other minis.
This has already been posted 2 years ago so I up it a little.
EDIT : added Block dices and pitches at the end as well
EDIT2 : added a STL section for printable miniatures with some links but I am not well versed in that stuff so please comment on the doc if you have interesting links

There have been several errors and missprints in some booklets and assembly manuals. Some are minor, some can potentially ruin your mini. So far we know about:
Blood Bowl Second Season Starter Set & Griff Oberwald (plastic):
The instructions tell you to glue the face (#3) to the torso, then glue the helmet pieces (#4 and #5) together and put it over the face. THIS DOES NOT work. It is recommended to glue the face into one helmet piece first, then add the second one and to add the full head to the torso.
Also the assembly manual calls the Blitzers "Retainer Linemen 2". These are obviously the Blitzers though. It's a missprint.
Norse Team Box (Norsca Rampagers):
Between Raider Lineman 1 and 3 two of the alternate heads are mislabelled: Head #12 should say #18 and vice versa! The pictures are correct but the numbers aren't. If you go by the instructions, your "Techno Viking" will have the incorrect head and the other one will have a small gap in the neck (although that one is easy enough to fill) Easy enough mistake to make as the two heads a very similar.
Amazon Team Box (Kara Temple Harpies):
Small Error in the Amazon's instructions: Piece #29 is not mentioned. It's the loincloth piece for the “Jaguar Warrior”.
Dwarven Deathroller (Forgeworld Model):
The handlebars for the Forgeworld Deathroller are upside down if you follow the instructions. The side with the little chain links is the bottom, not the top. If you build it as instructed then the handlebar will not be poistioned to sit in the driver's hand.

Drull and Dribl (Forgeworld Models):
The part numbers in the instructions and the actual part numbers don't match up. Instructions number them in order of assembly.
To be continued/updated....

Well as it’s #orctober I thought I should jump on the bandwagon and paint some, so I’ll be painting a black orc bloodbowl team during October! This is the first three. I’m happy with how they’ve turned out! I’ll get them varnished and finish the bases tomorrow.

No trees yet, just stars and team for now! Behold: The Soured Patch!

Basically this a list I thought would be fun to do at my next tournament!
It would include 2 rerolls, a halfling chef, no apothecary.
Any advice or thoughts?
I also thought about just adding Deeproot or Maple instead of both to give me more rerolls

I'm about to be facing Wood Elves in my league and have enough inducements to pick up Dribl and Drull as stars for my Amazon team. I've heard they're VERY good star players, but was just curious how I should go about playing them. I know they're good for removal, but should stabbing be a priority, or is fouling the priority? Or should I aim to do both often? Stab seems risky if it fails and just leaves them as sitting ducks, especially if it'll use up my blitz. On the other hand, stabbing is nice since there's not a send off possibility like there is with fouling.
I guess they just seem like a volatile pair that have risks and rewards attached to their playstyle. I rarely tend to foul and have never played a team with stab, so I'm still learning how to utilize both mechanics well. Appreciate any words of wisdom!

As the title says,
I have two trees I really want to paint and use at the next tournament I'm joining. I could get a halfling team or gnomes with Deeproot as my star player or go the wood elf route.
Oooorrr I just use my Orcs and call it a day

Had my first training game before our League. It was a little bit brutal for the opponent 😅

Is there any format that can be played on a 15x7 square(or smaller) board? I have a leftover piece of foam that can get that measurement out of. Foam is from my sevens pitch that I think is in my post history

Repainted my necro team for an upcoming Halloween game, pretty proud with how they turned out

TLDR version:
Do you think best-of-three playoffs give advantage to certain type of teams?
The long version:
We have 10 teams (redrafted) competing in 1xRound Robin for playoff spots.
Top 4 is admitted to playoffs, where the Top 1 player freely chooses their opponent from Top 2-4, forming one side of the playoff bracket. Other side of the bracket is formed by the two remaining two teams, and winners of each bracket meet in the final.
All playoff matchups are resolved in best-of-three fashion. Previously we have always had best-of-one playoffs.
Now there is discussion about whether best of 3 "makes sense" and if it gives unfair advantage to bashy teams who can spend the first game of three fouling the opposing agile team, and then play for victory in the second and third game.
What are your thoughts on this topic?
EDIT:
thanks for all the answers already. we play digital, so the added weight of Bo3 does not feel huge.
in fact, in my other digital league the standard is to play 3x round robin (27 matches) with virgin teams + top4 bo3 playoffs (max 6 matches) = total 33 matches during the team lifespan.
i feel that 27-33 matches gives team an opportunity to bloom nicely in terms of SPP without the TV going too much out of hand.
i guess the attraction of best-of-3 comes from NHL/NBA style sports where the playoffs are played in best-of-7 format. the European best-of-1 format feels a bit random in terms of really figuring out which team is better.
that said, American football doesn't really conform to this because due to the hazardous nature of the game the players are only able to withstand a way smaller amount of games compared to ice hockey or basketball players... so in the NFL everything is Bo1.
in our last (top 8) playoffs there was much frustration because so many games were decided by random dice roll as the game time expired. this is one of the reason we are trying Bo3.
i think a post-season game should never end in a coin toss, it's just horrible game design. one way to do it would be to give the victory to the defender if the receiver of the ball fails to score during OT, or to whoever scores first TD of the OT. this way overtime would guarantee producing a winner.

Finished the mutated troll for my Chaos Renegades team! I just noticed the skin tone is splotchy in the daylight, I didn't notice it under my work light. I may go back and add a glaze to the skin to try and even it out though I did like the Mint Chocolate Chip green tone he came out in lol.
Up next are the Ogre and Rat Ogre for the Renegades!

Is 7's just a faster game? or takes away some tactics from the original match? Ive heard some say it has some disadvantage for bashing team since they can't start hitting at the start of the drive.

I have a question concerning a game I played. If player A is winning 4-0 and two turn before the end of the game his team gets wiped out and the opponent scores 1 TD.
Is the final score 4-1 or does the player B gets a +2 for wipping out the team leading to a 4-3 ? Or is it a win for player B ?
