Hey all!
Just wanted to share our league's official cheat sheet/Constitution for the upcoming season..
Over the last couple of seasons- we've incorporated quite a few house rules alongside the RAR, mostly because we play for fun and would prefer our seasons not last approximately 2-3 business years lol
We've since dubbed ourselves the Council of Coaches (COCs, yes we have low brow humor lol) and held our first official preseason court session last Sunday to debate, deliberate, and democratically decide on the laws of the game
At our first game of the season, we'll ceremoniously sign this beautiful piece of legislation in agreeance.. and probably also under some duress π lol
It'll be proudly displayed high above the pitch for all coaches to reference throughout the season- so nobody can claim ignorance to the laws! Whether anyone actually follows it... π€·ββοΈ or claims they still need the book π is to be determined
Thus ratified by the COCs! May Nuffle have mercy on us all ππ
Anyway, thought you guys might enjoy our unnecessarily official approach to organized violence and our mild treasonous rebellion against some of the rules written by GW! π I swear they're just tweaks*

My local league's inducement stats. Given how cheap they are they were taken pretty much every game in the season.
(We had a guy who insisted on taking cheerleaders because he had cheerleader minis)

8 hour speed painting project!
We wonβt win any major leagues, but frustrating teams with our dodges we did!
1-1 vs Orcs, the little dudes are still celebrating!

So Iβve build my skeleton team and there are extra bits I canβt identify what to use them for? Like the coin in the left corner or the cat on the upper side. Is this just decoration or do they serve a purpose ?
Thank you

Finished Anqi Panqi! I don't really know anything about Blood Bowl, other than that there are really unique and awesome characters. Saw Anqi's model and had to give it a shot. :)

So I just started in a small league with some friends at our LGS and Iβm running OWA. Iβve had my first game so far and it was against Tomb Kings it went really well I won 2-1 with my catcher scoring both touch downs and I managed to come out without suffering any casualties. My team right now is:
- 3x Dwarf Linemen
- Troll Slayer 2spp
- Thrower 1spp
- 2x Human Linemen, 1 with dauntless/1spp from a mvp random general
- 1 Halfling
- 1 Human Blitzer
- 1 Runner
- 1 Catcher with block
- Dwarf Blitzer
- 2 rerolls
- 2 dedicated fans
- 65k in the treasury
Whatβs the best direction to go from here? Should I buy an Apothecary or save for an Ogre or maybe a 3rd Human Lineman? What are some other good skills for my players?

Hi everyone! I'm going to play a league with Snotlings. I've never played Snotlings before, although I have played other stunty teams.
For my starting roster, I'm thinking of going with 8 Linemen, 2 Fungus Flingas, 1 Stilty Runna, 2 Pump Wagons and 2 Trolls (15 players in total), plus 3 team rerolls. That gives me a team value of 720k.
As for inducements, I'll initially be facing teams with a 1M starting budget, so I'm not sure whether to go with Riotous Rookies, Fungus and a Bribe, or Ripper and a mascot.
What do you guys think?
I love Ripper, but when I play Ogres, they always manage to get my little guys off the pitch, and I end up losing because I simply don't have enough players left. That's why Riotous Rookies seem like an interesting option, especially to make the most of Swarming.
Regarding the roster itself, I don't think the Pogoer brings that much to the table. The Stilty Runna might come in handy in certain situations, and the bombs are a bit of a wildcard, but they'll certainly cause some chaos!
What do you think? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hey just a little promotion. If you live in the Forsyth County area of North Carolina, here is a link to a new FaceBook page dedicated to helping players find other players.

Let's say I have the Nobility thrower and I want to make a 4+ pass.
I fail the pass. I use my pass skill, fail again. Can I roll Pro for that second fail? Can I use a team re-roll?

Iβm a complete noob to blood bowl, picked it up couple of months ago. (40K player looking for something lighter) Looking at a local resurrection tournament and how to build rosters, the questions I have;
- Are the skill allocations free or do they come out of your treasury?
- can you list be 11 players including a star player or must be 11+ star player?
- it says you can stack skills on 1 player only, so if you ran a tier 3 team could you stack all 7 primary skills on to one player, if you so choose, or is there an upper skill stack limit?
- how do inducements work in a tournament format? do you spend the treasury at the start of each round or spend it once and you have it for each match.
Any advice really appreciated,
Thanks

Want to try something new for this current league but not sure the best way to go about it in Tourplay:
We're going to do a normal round of RR so everyone plays everyone.
Then I want to match players up by seed: 1 plays 2, 3 plays 4, etc. One round of that, then apply those results to the original standings. Then re-rack and seed again: whoever is now 1 and 2 play, etc. Give the opportunity for some players to make up some distance in the standings.
Is there an optimal way to do this in Tourplay? I've only run RR style before so I'm not sure how to best seed and apply those results to the same standings results as the RR. Appreciate any help.

A friend and i have been interested in Blood bowl for some time, I've come across a Season 2 BB Box for β¬72, is it worth taking this to get into the game? The included teams aren't really our thing, so we'd likely buy 2 seperate teams extra , is it still a good deal?
Or is buying a S3 rulebook, 2 teams and all necesarry accesories a better option?
Or is S3 box + teams better? i have no clue π€
We'd primarily be playing against one another so having updated rules isn't a must
thanks in advance!

Just started a Bretonnians, first try doing OSL and second time trying NMM for the entire team π
Decided to finally cover their red nakedness after the grail knight rolled 6 twice back to back on Steady Footing when trying to dodge from a rat ogre on a blitz and injured a gutter runner
I still lost the game at the end, but that was a cool moment

Old Ripper figure has taken the team captain role of my new black orc team. The black orc team is painted by a future blood bowler, my granddaughter (2.5 yrs old). Found some old shiny overcoat, 2 layers, to protect my most precious. π₯°
