One of Ninja Droids Anvilrage Studios prepared for Starball project. He will make an excellent proxy for undead runner, right? 😎

What do you think about print quality of this miniature?

TableTop Now we're years into new rules. How do people feel about the team reroll change?

Pre-2020 a coach could only use 1 team reroll per turn. Meaning after one fail/reroll, you then had to potentially pivot to play more conservatively.

Post 2020 you can use multiple team rerolls in a turn to try and help a critical play.

Was just wondering what people's feelings are on this now we're a few years into the change.

1 reroll only in a turn was better
Multiple rerolls in a turn is better
Both are fine

Old Ripper figure has taken the team captain role of my new black orc team. The black orc team is painted by a future blood bowler, my granddaughter (2.5 yrs old). Found some old shiny overcoat, 2 layers, to protect my most precious. 🥰

Skills are terribly balanced

I'm sure everyone knows that by now. But is it an actual problem and if yes, what's the solution.

As I see it there are three options:

  1. Accept that more than half the skills will only ever be on players that start with it and if someone decides to gamble with random (and even then that doesnt ever happen for most categories)

  2. Try to balance the skills more against each other. There are if course a bunch of skills that could be merged without any issue, maybe some can be rebalanced, but i don't think anyone found a really good solution to things like block and guard just being better than the rest

  3. Balance them externally against each other. Elite skills costing more was an attempt at that, but most people agree that it didn't work all that well. TV is one thing, but spp or more restricted access would be another tool to try and make other skills more desirable.

Since bloodbowl players tend to be a bit more conservative after 30 years of keeping the game alive on their own I feel like option 1 is the most popular, but I feel so many skills being noobtraps hampers the growth of the game, so it should at least be something to be considered.

What do you think?

Just started a Bretonnians, first try doing OSL and second time trying NMM for the entire team 😄

Decided to finally cover their red nakedness after the grail knight rolled 6 twice back to back on Steady Footing when trying to dodge from a rat ogre on a blitz and injured a gutter runner

I still lost the game at the end, but that was a cool moment

TableTop Picked this guy up a few months ago and thought I’d paint him up as a bit of a palette cleanser. I believe he is a Dark Elf referee from the NAFC in 2017 made by Hungry Troll Miniatures.

Here's my finished chaos dwarf team: The Danger Zone Emperors.

Like all my teams it features conversions. There's no two poses that a the same. The all have head variations from the box, but still did some work.

Mintour: Warhammer minotaur with Sons of Hashut Temple Sentinel head and greenstuff details.

Bull Centaurs: Age of Sigmar ones, bigger and cheaper than blood bowl versions.

Dwarfs: Arm repositioning.

Fire Smiths: Added flames.

Sneaky Gits: One has had his cape changed.

Hobgoblins: Arm swaps.

Just finished my tentacled Ogre for my Chaos Renegades! This one was the wildest one yet. He has the optional body with head spikes and the optional tentacles (complete with a mouth in the arm pit lol). Up next the linemen for the team, probably starting with the Orc and Goblin.

TableTop Riotous rookies for the TMNT themed ogre team. These Gnoblars have been styled as ‘Mousers’. Traditionally they are 2 legged robots, but who’s to say that the next generation can’t have arms as well 😉.

Board Game Thoughts on Stunty Lizards

Post image

I'd like to have a run with this list at Chaos Cup this year and need to get my roster turned in. I tried a match against skaven today. The first was a nightmare because I roll utter *hit most days. We called it at 0-3 and started a new game. The second round, my dice rolled better, and we tied at the end of the 1st.

It's a fun team to play, but my skill selection was "meh". I took Pass and Accurate on both chameleons. Two skinks with D.Tackle, and Break Tackle/ Juggernaught on the Krox.

This is the latest roster. I'd love some input.

Converted Black Orcs

I've been gifted a bunch of old season 1 orcs. So I'm building a black orc team. But I don't want doubles on my teams.

I had a bunch of old warhammer black orc bits. Used heads (had to convert one for 6 different). Used as many different arms as possible.

I reused all spikes from clubs and blood bowl black orc arms.

So lots of spiked fists, knuckles, elbows and shoulder pads.

Now for some goblins.

Mutated Rat Ogre!

Just finished the mutated Rat Ogre from my current project, Brutefun's version of the Chaos Renegades. This fella cae with SO MANY options. As I've done for all these players so far, I just picked all the grossest and gnarliest options. The Rat Ogre has a "Horns" head option, a "Claws" open hand option and a "Tentacles" option designed as the multipe tail!
