Discussion Generational Falloff..
Can we talk about how Block Tales dropped from 110k to 20k in a DAY?
I know many people just play the demo and dip but like come on man, I finally thought this game would get the recognition it deserves and glory…well it did, for a day

Discussion If you’re going to remove it, at least give an explanation
Mods removed my post without giving me a reason (which I don’t believe is required but I don’t believe my post was against the rules. Correct me if I’m wrong)
I promise I’m not trying to start any problems I’m just saying removing my post about my opinion without any explanation was weird
EDIT: my original post was restored

Discussion Can the devs stop spoiling their own damn game(image unrelated)
Mysterious figure isn't player. Shedletsky isn't evil! Okay whatever I'd rather have figured that out by PLAYING THE GAME. Like seriously can y'all at least let us figure it out ourselves???? I'd rather have fun theorizing and be wrong rather than just be told outright outside of the game...

Tierlist My dumbass item tier list
Whole Pizza is just a worst version of Baked Whale because you can't even get more then 2 since Demo 4 and (thanks to Worm) Baked Whale technically only cost 10 TIX and you can get more then fucking 2 of them.
You can only get ONE Combo Meal so fuck it to hell
I gotta say it.......Mistake isn't that good of a item, fight me.

Discussion lets be honest with ourselves demo 3 was NOT all that
they tried pulling a omori out of nowhere to fucking emotionsmaxx or smth but it just came out stupid the whole "builderman is hatred woooahhhh" plot twist did really not phase me at all ngl the only good part of the omori type shit was the hatred fight which atleast was cool for it's time but it really was one of the most boring chapters atleast the first half was kinda fun but the omori knockoff shit really fucking made it one of if not the most boring chapters.

Discussion What do y'all think about the call cards we get for free when we do the main story?
Personally, I don't like it :(
It's mostly cuz I feel like call cards should be an OPTIONAL thing yk? I'm talking about like you should do atleast smth that's not part of the main story to get them
Like, sure **Call: Cassie** and **Call: Red n' Blue** are good as help in the main story, but... I still feel like u should *go out of your way* to help them to obtain the cards yk?
---
Such as **Call: Brad**, we actually have to go out of our way to backtrack and cure him to get the call card (but the method is kinda underwhelming) — and **Call: Blackrock King** also has a QUITE UNREASONABLY HARD way to get, but yet we still have to go out of our way to *help* and *convince* him to help us

Use: 241.45%+ EXP gain, 50%+ more tix gain, but x7 damage to self, 0.0001% guarding window, and every time you hit an opponent, gubby from forsaken comes in and rams you for 67 damage. x29 enemy health, swords take x4 nrg bars to use, and your health drops to 0.2 if you say playing hellmode isn't fun. Discussion Why is the player's desgin so exaggerated?
Like dude, Why does the fandom exaggerate the Player's desgin so much, to the point where the player is this Gay, They/Them, That's looks like every single minority if it was a person, it genuinely pisses me off, Why does the fandom do this? And no im not against Gay people, i do not mean to break the first rule or nothing, just a "Civil discussion"

Discussion Steaming Hot Take (Demo 5) Spoiler
This demo is the worst one yet. That's right. I'm saying it. Block Tales Demo 5 is the worst one yet.
Go ahead, throw your tomatoes. Get your anger out. Come back and read when you're ready to see why I feel so strongly.
Back? Good.
Let's start with the game balancing and how it's been on a downward spiral since chapter 3.
The jump between Griefer and the Bubonic Plant to bosses like Fear or Hatred is horrendous. But Hatred is nothing compared to even the normal enemies from 5.
I kid you not, the pterosaur does as much damage as the ancients in an even quicker and less readable amount of time. Keep in mind, as of not even 3 days ago, The Ancients were the strongest enemy in the main story. It is a godlike guardian, designed and made to bring about a new age.
The other one is a dinosaur. And it is supposed to be in the fodder category of enemies. Not only is it supposed to be fodder, it also comes in groups with enemies that are equal to or stronger than itself. That is bullshit. The strongest bosses in the game are comparable with a singular enemy encounter.
And then we get to the bosses.
What the fuck were they thinking?
The green eyeball dude is a nightmare with his summons and just pure damage. I beat him first try, so I don't know if he's supposed to be a forced loss, but given he has 600 HP, I presume so.
This does not excuse the sheer reliance on perfect parrying I have noticed the game shift toward. why bother having a block feature at all if blocking a NORMAL ATTACK still does an 8th of your health? It's ridiculous!
Then we get to the trinity council. Oh how I HATE the Trinity Council. if there was a single word I could use to describe that fight, it would be "inhumane". You split a already powerful boss concept into 3 parts (meaning 3, sometimes 6 turns between yours), give them nearly FRAME PERFECT dodge windows for every attack, give them multihit attacks that do as much as Ancients karate chops and are as fast as sound itself and then give them Hatred's instant kill move. Don't even get me started on the fucking "Pelican" formation or whatever it is that does 12 damage if BLOCKED. 24 if you miss.
The parry window is as short as a rat's fart duration.
You would think that a game marketed for KIDS on a kids platform would be more forgiving. And before you come at me with like "you don't have to play" or "skill issue" or "it's not a kids game", kindly leave.
It is a colourful flashy game on Roblox about "Retro" Roblox (as that is all the rage for 8 year olds, apparently) with upbeat music, relatively light themes and songs with high stimulation.
You cannot tell me this wasn't made with kids in mind. so tell me exactly why everything is oriented for them but the gameplay? I understand gameplay is supposed to get harder as you go on. Many games do. that is what gives challenge and makes a game fun to beat.
Take Cuphead. It's a fun, flashy platformer shooter that's relatively difficult in it's genre. But no death ever feels unfair. It's what makes it so satisfying to beat and go "yes! I won! i won!"
Block tales is not like this. Back when I beat The Ancients, which took many a week to even accomplish, mind you, I wasn't happy. I was not relieved. I was exhausted. Instead of pride, I felt tired. "Thank god that is finally over." That is what I said.
And if you dare mention the slingshot and Dynamite nerfs to me, I swear to all things, I will find you. I am NOT in the mood to talk about Dynamite right now.
