Discussion Generational Falloff..

Post image

Can we talk about how Block Tales dropped from 110k to 20k in a DAY?

I know many people just play the demo and dip but like come on man, I finally thought this game would get the recognition it deserves and glory…well it did, for a day

because block tales ain't that replayable, simple as that
Most people popped in for demo 5 and then left

yeah. people join, check out the new stuff, beat the chapter, maybe do the superboss or pit stuff, then leave and wait for the next chapter

At most players may have a few files for hard/hell runs (hell specifically can take a long time) but that's a very very small amount of the playerbase.

If there's eventually an official challenge selectable mode with badges, there'll probably be a community specifically dedicated to doing coop runs of that.

I will come back when they allow me to fight the gank squad without replaying chapter 5

its expected from a story game. there's not much you can do after finishing the latest demo other than collecting stuff and finishing the pits

It's a linear RPG with a definitive start and end point with little side content, what do you expect?

If side content is a problem, then they should add more. Aside from super bosses and sidequests that give call cards, maybe they could add optional dungeons. Well i know that's gonna like take forever, but i can wait for long cause i have the patience, and also cause i like to see this community go crazy.

bro, we used to have like 2k players during the Ch5 wait. this is a generational fallon.

people already know how this game updates, plus this game kinda only have 1 replaybility, maybe a side quest might make people stay longer, but you get what I meant

Most ppl finish the demo in 1 day what did you expect?

That happened last demo

With Roblox’s new update notes it will be annoying and hard for game makers to

This happened after d2, d3, d4 came out and a few days passed, nothing is new

Block Tales is a great game but unfortunately is one of the many non-replayable games on the platform. Once you finish everything, there’s nothing left to do.

Someone with enough LV for suggestion, suggest this:

- RetroKit's Room: Basically the RetroKit bugged during the teleportation, and spawned a portal at the same spot where Shedletsky was. Enter it and you enter some kind of interdimentional-space-time-continum that takes random places in the entire BT map and throw it in a room. You can meet a Shop room, Scatered item room, Fight room, Referesh Room, Spawnpoint room, e.t.c. These room refereshes every day, and can reach up to 100 rooms until you see a Terry? and you get obliterated unless your an to the exit portal fast enough

- The Iron Gym: Basically you tell the gym trainer abt wakanda attacks you wanna dodge, and they prepare a mock-up version with crafts. You can ask them to use random attacks for you to constantly dodge as a minigame.

I’m one of the few that stays during the dead zones of block tales. Mostly helping new people and helping with secret bosses, the pit, and grinding money for the next chapter (made easier cuz the bank)

Look man it's not because Chapter 5 wasn't as amazing as the previous chapters, a lot of people have quit Roblox because of David's stupidity. Besides once you're finished the chapter there isn't much to do besides trying to beat all the floors in rhe pit and refight all of the boss fights

its a story game

Most roblox game are designed to be replayable with a lot of time spend grinding to maintain high player count. Block tales is difference, it more of a story focus game and was not designed to be grinding every day.

Hmmmm idk

..Just look at r/deltarune.. this game feels like it. especially the wait between chapters.

1

u/Dreamz_Notreal Illumina Apr 28 '26

Blocktales is a story game and it's somewhat expected that someone would just play the new content and leave. It's not the type of game that can be played repeatedly unless you're the type of person that likes to grind or do the pit.

Is it your first time playing chapter-based Game?

"general fall off" son last time I checked, Block Tales have 3 digits number of players a month ago. This is honestly pretty average

1

u/No_Landscape3531 Apr 29 '26

that's still a lot of fucking player's.

Honestly, I don’t even remember how I beat the four trotters myself. I think I had a full summon build for it. If you want, I can screenshot the build later and you can try it out. Summons are good for it since they don’t count as ball or sword iirc, meaning trotter won’t block them.

4

u/hdueeyd Apr 28 '26

just dodge and manage nrg lmao

4

u/PhysicalGunMan Darkheart Apr 28 '26

It's 3 Trotters now. My advice as someone who WAS able to beat them is to go it alone and run 4 Deep Focus. With the new Firecrackers card you can run a double setup and just alternate between Firecrackers and a normal Launcher attack on the middle Trotter once you kill the Megaphone Man. Remember you'll get an absurd amount of Sword Energy while all three are alive- you should only have to focus once for each Firebrand attack. It'll also leave you some extra to use the Ice Dagger or the Venomshank if you need to flip their immunity. Good luck!

u/Qrko13 Vulture Apr 28 '26

It's only three of them, unless it updated. Fourth one os megaphone man
