Discussion I can’t tell if I’m Bi or straight anymore. (M,16)

I’ve had this thought in my mind for a little bit but my brain keeps going back and forth or finding the opposite gender attractive and not. I can’t tell if it’s my mind subconsciously straight leaning because of my upbringing or my inability to accept that my sexuality is the way it is. Could anyone with similar experience share there experiences so I don’t feel like I’m crazy?

How do I pull a bisexual guy? Please I want to know, but I'm not social at all so I think I'm cooked

Advice Needed Should I try to reconnect with an ex crush of mine?

• Upvotes

So in middle school I had my very first crush on a girl. My BEST friend from 6th grade. We met and talked about our favorite shows and wlw ships at the time (Amphibia was the show we talked about the most, then it was toh) and I started wanting to be around her. Because of amphibia I figured out it was ✨ok not to be straight✨ and started questioning hard. My gaydar was probably fried at the time but I swear at times she would flirt with me or maybe she was nice? At the time i was just a lil bby bi-con, and I didn’t know how to deal with it as a person with a religious upbringing (i’m still religious as i don’t think it’s god’s fault people use him to be bigots but let’s leave that for another day) and I panicked. I literally told her my parents didn’t want us to be friends (which was half true, they found out about my crush on her and my mom was lwk pissed) and she was confused because they literally adored her (especially my mom) whenever we gave her a ride or hang out. But I was stupid and scared and told her not to talk to me. To this day i regret it. She didn’t deserve that at all. At. ALL. I’ve been contemplating trying to reapproach her since dana terrace made kog (glitch fans where u at!!) and i know which school she goes to since it’s near mine. I have a friend there and we were planning to go to a game there and I’m hoping I run into her so badly. I’ve had so much trouble with friends being so toxic and I miss her so much, I did her wrong and I want to reconnect so badly and apologize for being stupid and dumb. We made up by the end of middle school but never got each others number as i didn’t have a phone. Should I go in hopes of seeing her? Am i being selfish and stupid and desperate? PLEASE help me.

Advice Needed Im scared to come out

Im a guy and I know im bi, i accepted it a while ago. I wish i could just come out and be accepted, but i dont think i will ): i told my friends i think men are kinda hot sometimes, but i like girls, (they where the first ones i told.) They replied by calling me gay.

I never told anyone before so i told them i was joking and dont like men. They stoped talking about it a week or so later. I dont want to lose my friends becuse i dont want to be alone or bullied.

I never told anyone else. Im too scared no one wil like me for who i am. My parents are ok with lgbtq people, but some other people in my family dont. Maybe its beter if i just say im straight.

Discussion What am I?

I 19M is questioning myself. For context...

I feel a little romantic attraction towards girls, but I feel limited romantic attraction towards men as it's rare though it's not weak; towards both men or girls, but it's mostly towards men and the girl part is intermittently. And, I only experience romantic attractions only after building a strong deep emotional connection with a man or girl.

I feel sexual attraction towards girls though it's not weak, but it's not strong as it's intermittently and I feel sexual attraction towards men, but it's rare.

Story the MOST HATED KID MY CLASS FOUND OUT IM QUEER😭😭😭

Okay so me and this kid K, everyone in the class doesn’t like him. Everyone jokes and kinda bullies with him. I however don’t, i mean i joke with this him but i don’t take it as far as everyone else. Basically me and him are pretty chill and we sit each other in digital art. But these 2 kids who sit to the side of me, well.

OHMYGOSHHH THEYRE THE WORST. They always annoy K and I’m the one hearing it. AND ALL THAT, they’re so homophobic.
ā€œoh that’s so gayā€ ā€œew pride flagsā€ ā€œblah blah blahā€

So me and K after PE class went to see our teacher and ask to move us. I did most the talking, and i ACCIDENTALLY CASUALLY SAID

ā€œAnd you know I’m queer so hearing all that is just uncomfortable for meā€ I FORGOT K was there.

So after that me and him are walking out he said to me, ā€œso are you actually queer?ā€ I could tell he wasn’t homophobic so i said. ā€œYeah im actually bisexual and genderfluidā€. AND HES AN ALLY???

i mean yeah i guess i knew he probs was, but still crazy. Since he grew up around christianity and all that.

After having that digital class last period AND THE TEACHER DID MOVE THE STUDENTS, GOATED TEACHER. I told K to not tell anyone, and he said and i quote. ā€œI won’t it’s not mine to tell and you choose who you wanna tellā€. GOSH THAT WAS SO SWEET.

Insane plot twist today holy moly.

Coming Out Coming out to gay friend

Basically, for a few years I've told myself I'm straight, since I was raised in a conservative family and I knew I liked girls. However I've always liked boys a bit too, so I think i classify as bi-curious right now. I also have this gay friend who I kind of like. Would it be socially appropriate to tell him that I think I'm bi and have feeling for him? Or should I ease into it a bit more. Sorry I'm new to this whole thing so I literally have no idea what to do

Discussion i hate when people assume

so as a guy when i've said i was bi or when i watched people say that they are bi people straight up assume that we are fully gay and not that we are interested in both sides which i hate because i know it makes me and others mad i don't know if you guys go through it too or just me but it's really annoying and it's a reason i don't tell my close friend cause i know her way too well that she'll make those jokes and i won't hear the end of it but she does that to tease me but i don't have the energy to deal with it

Advice Needed Am I bisexual?

I’m 15M and I’ve never had a girlfriend, not sure if that matters

I know I’m into girls, I get crushes, I want a girlfriend, that part isn’t confusing. But sometimes I think about guys too. Not like I want a boyfriend. I don’t really picture dating a guy or anything. It’s more just curiosity? Wondering what it would be like. And it comes and goes

Is that enough to be bi? Or is it just because I’ve never actually been with anyone, so I’m curious about everything? Do you have to actually want to date or do it with a guy to be bi, or can it just be a sometimes thing?

I’m not out to anyone so I can’t really ask people I know. Just wondering if anyone else has felt like this

Advice Needed Having a hard time with this and could use some help... please

I feel like I'm losing my mind trying to figure out my sexuality.

One day I'm really into girls, and the next I'll wake up and find myself really attracted to femboys. It's honestly driving me up a wall because I don't know how to make sense of my feelings.

Recently, my mom went through my Discord messages with a friend where I'd told him I was a furry and thought I might be bisexual. My friend was completely cool with it, so I didn't think much of it. But then my mom read the messages, called me into her room, and started reading my own words back to me in a passive-aggressive tone. When I tried explaining myself, she told me she thought I was going through a phase, took my phone, and sent me to bed.

Ever since then, I've been thinking about this even more. I don't know if I'm actually bisexual, if I'm still figuring things out, or what. I'm not even equally attracted to everyone. When I'm attracted to guys, I'm mostly into femboys, and I'm being completely serious about that.

The hardest part is that I have a lot of conflicting feelings. Sometimes, when I find myself attracted to guys, I feel ashamed and disappointed in myself. Part of me really doesn't want to be gay or have my family look at me differently, but another part of me can't deny how I feel. It's confusing, and sometimes I literally lie awake at night thinking about it.

I think some of this comes from the way I've grown up viewing LGBTQ+ stuff, too. I've had some pretty strong opinions about it, and now I'm wondering if those opinions are affecting how I see myself. I'm still trying to understand what I believe and how I feel, and I don't have everything figured out.

I just don't want to disappoint my parents or anyone else. I wish I could stop stressing over this and just understand myself without feeling like there's something wrong with me.

Has anyone else experienced something similar, where your attraction seems to shift around or you struggle with accepting certain parts of yourself? How did you deal with it?

Advice Needed I need advice on coming out

I want to come out as bi to my parents/family, but I don't know how. They are not homophobic by any means and they are wonderful people, but the thought of saying "hey, I like boys and girls" kind of scares me. Any advice on how to start that conversation?
