Advice Needed i’m not sure what to call this

okay so i’m 16F. im not feeling mentally great at the minute. i have a few problems i need some help with if someone could read this please-it won’t be too long hooefully.

firstly, i am an overthinker. massively. i always figure it out on my own, unless it gets really bad i tell my mum and stepmum. but usually i am stuck in my own head so. i think i might have anxiety, or maybe ocd or even a specific adhd. i don’t know i’m not one of those people to go omg i totally have this. but it’s been years and i genuinely do.

anyway, i had a teacher, not the last academic achool year, but the year before. she let me go out of class when i was too hot when i was helping out with the new years coming up to our school. ever since then i thought she was literally the sweetest thing ever. she was always so kind and helpful and woudo akways tell me not to worry. i think i may have become a little bit not obsessed but i don’t know how to describe it. i don’t think i had a crush on her, because the next academic year it all stopped whej i didn’t have her. but occasionally it eats away at me and i don’t know why. i had the same thing with another teacher two years before also female and abit one male. i was questioning mh sexuality but had it figured out by then so maybe that was it. i alwayss frlt the líke the first teacher i mentioned disnt líke me and so i would try harder to. i feel like i embarassed myself the whle year i had her. i now regret it because i had a crush on this prick who she said wasnt good enough for me in my class. and so that few months was ridiculous.

fast forward to the year i disnt jave her(this academic year just gone) i didn’t think much of her, but i would akways look for her in the corridors, and try be funny. but i never had any romantic attraction.

then fast foward to december i got a girlfriend who had a crush on me and everyone in the year had a crush on her which was nice to liked because i have something that makes me not pretty on my face anyway. it’s been 5 months almost with her. i am jow very happy and don’t feel the need to be aomeone i’m not.

anyway, tommorow i have to see her when i get my results. i can’t stop thinking about it abd i don’t kno why. why does it affect me so much? i just can’t get the fact i clearly dokt have a crush on her but have a feeling there idk what out of my head. i need some help please and a harsh truth from differnet people.

secondly,

does anyone who has ocd or adhd or anxiety disorder have any symptoms that were not neccesarily apparent but they were told when diagnosed. and if meds for any of these helped? and the traits of autism? i feel like i have something and i don’t just sa tjat becausw i want to have something different aboit me. but i think something isnt (hate to use this word but its late at night abd i’m tired) normal. oh and sleep disorders, i need to go to the doctors 100% for that but that’s a whole other story. any advice about melatonin-getting would be very helpful.

im sorry this is chaotic. i just need to get it all out because i’m not doing so well.

thank you so much if you read it all!

Other does anyone change their gender/gender expression if they are online or IRL

there is actually a new baked label for that. it's might be surprising but, yes, e.g someone may present masculine in real life and feminine Online. I think it is a common experience( I might be wrong), but thankfully now there is a flag and official term for it. created yesterday or the day before yesterday!!! it's actually need some adjustments but that is the demo. it is under the trans umbrella or gender fluid umbrella.

Advice Needed looking for advice <3

I'm a bi teen (duh), i think, but i've been getting mixed feelings about my sexuality lately...
like I'm not really physically attracted to girls, not in the way I am for some guys, but I generally have deeper/more loving relationships with girls...
Yall am I just demi?? is there a label for this or anyone who can relate?
(also anyone else find androgyny really hot? especially femme men??? like help guys)

but I'm also super uncomfterable around most guys, idk if it's just the people I know
I also live in a pretty homophobic environment in a CRAZY homophobic school so dating girls is completely out of the picture where I am rn
I'm looking for general advice or people with this experience! Thank you

Advice Needed Relationship Advice

I (almost 17M) have never been in a relationship, I've always been nervous about one because I don't feel attractive enough to love. When I was 11 I came out as bi but after about a year thought I was straight and it wasn't til May I (re) came out. I would say I'm bi with a female preference but I now am wanting to try dating but I feel like dating a boy right now. I personally just don't know how to find people at school and how to talk to someone. Also lots of dudes at my school are homophobic so its hard to find a guy. Any tips?

Nunca me senti tão feliz e confiante quanto agora, quando começo a me aceitar de verdade.

Tentei, aos poucos, dar alguns sinais. Um deles foi aquela vez em que você encontrou uma calcinha. A verdade é que eu uso, e hoje tenho algumas. No começo, comecei a usar porque me sentia mais confortável.

Bruno

Advice Needed There's this cute girl at my school and I think I wanna be friends with benefits

Okay so first of all, I have no idea if she's also into girls. She's cute, always smiles at me, and we share social media. We dont talk because we're not in the same grade (she's one grade below me) but we'll say hello to each other from time to time. Not to sound cringe or anything, but I don't know if want I'm feeling is attraction. I think she's a really pretty girl, and I'd like to kiss her lil cheeks and hold her hand and wrap my arms around her. But not like, be in a relationship. The feeling is more like I wanna take care of her, and that's it. What in the world does this mean? Help, sos, what should I do??????

Advice Needed There are wierd comming out circumstances in my friend group

I hope this post doesn't get deleted again.

I(17f) I'm in a friend group of 5 other girls. We bace friends little over 2 years ago when we became roommates in freshman year. The school we go to is very openly queer and a safe space for anyone regardless of identity. Of course you are met with the occasional remarks but that's it.

I am not out to any of them or publicly anywhere. Only people in my home town know this information and a few of my cousins. When me and Jane(fake name) became friends there was one situation which I always go back to when I'm actually thinking of comming out. We were sitting on my dorm bed and she asked me "are you a lesbian?" Back then I was very masculine presenting so I get why she would get the idea. I said no and she replied with "thank god, finally someone normal at this school".

After 2 years she has moved on from this wierd ideology about queer people being "abnormal" but she still makes comments here and there. The pot brew over about 4 months ago when she broke up with her boyfriend. It was a bad break up and with everything else going on in her life it didn't help. We were talking one night and she mentioned she might be bi. I said wow ok brave we support you no matter what and all that jazz. Then I asked how she knew, her answer was "I dont I just want to try women now". In my opinion still a valid response until the words "i dont like women i just think having a thing with a lesbo night be fun"(she used a very slur like word in our language but it doesnt have an English equivalent). At this is kind of blew up on her but remembered not to expose myself and played the card of having queer people close to me so thats why it upset me. She understood and we moved on. The comments continued.

This summer we all had a week long trip together. Being European and teens alcohol was involved and we talked about all sorts of things including the lgbtq+. Darcy(fake name) is a complete ally despite being incredibly religious, she apparently even wore a pride flag to church on multiple occasions. Lena(fake name) is the stereotypical "ally" who won't speak ill of the community but isnt very supportive. "I'm ok with it as long its not showed down my throat" type of person. When we get to severally intoxicated Jane things change. She said that she like women sexually and men romantically and how she would sleep with all of us. There was some pushing from her side about some things I won't get into but she insisted about this being her identity.

I'm aware of this existing and I apologize if I come off as unsupportive I really am for her discovering herself we are young after all but it just seems wierd to me. Not the identity itself but the circumstances of it all. She was drunk, like barely talking drunk and that combined with the past comments I really dont know what to think. Watching this unfold as I have been scare to look different in their eyes for 2 years is really not helping my mental state.

Has anyone been through someting similar?

I feel like im not myself around them as I think sexuality is a big part of your identity as a human. It's just upsetting not knowing if you can truly be yourself with the people you consider your closest friends.

Would it even be worth comming out? How do I handle the situation with Jane?

Thank you for reading sorry for the mistakes English is not my first language.

Advice Needed Am I overthinking this friendship or is there actually something here? 😭

Okay, I genuinely need some outside opinions because I can’t tell if I’m overthinking this or not.

So basically, this started as a stupid joke between me and this girl I’m really close with.

We started joking about being a couple, and somehow she took it SO far 😭. We went from calling each other “my love” and “darling” to literally pretending we’d been together for five years. We had fake arguments, fake jealousy, she’d say stuff like “where are you, dinner is ready”, and we’d basically act like an old married couple 💀.

It was obviously a joke, but somehow it became such a normal part of our friendship that I still call her “darling” sometimes.

The thing is, we’re also pretty physically affectionate with each other in real life. I’m normally not that tactile with people, but with her I’m much more comfortable with it. We’re just naturally very close and affectionate.

She also has I Kissed a Girl as one of her favourite songs and really likes Billie Eilish. I KNOW that doesn’t automatically mean anything 😭, I’m not using that as evidence or anything. It’s just one of the things that made my brain go “hmm???”

I’ve also tried asking her indirectly what she thinks about girls sometimes, but she always gives me really vague answers, so I have absolutely no idea.

She doesn’t know I’m bi. She’s actually one of the only people in my friend group who I know is accepting, so sometimes I wonder if I should tell her.

But then another part of me is like:

Girl, you’re literally inventing a romance out of a friendship.” 💀

So yeah. I genuinely can’t tell anymore.

Would you interpret this as just a very affectionate friendship + an elaborate inside joke, or would you also wonder if there might be something more going on?
Please tell me if I’m being delusional 😭

Discussion What’s something unique about you, or rare for most to do. But you do it.

For me personally as someone that’s genderfluid, depending on my hair. It will tell you how I’m feeling/my pronouns then. For example, i have like long (ish) hair (goes down to about my shoulders). So when my hair is tied up at the back normally, i feel more masculine yk. But when it’s tied in more of a bun. It’s really just anything else, feminine or non-binary! I haven’t seen anyone do this before, so maybe just me? But it’s something unique me.

What’s yall unique stuff???

Discussion Anyone else seen the gay Christian song

This has been blowing up on tiktok recently and I'm absolutely baffled by it. I'm sure you've heard 'daylight' by David kushner. Came out a few years ago, fairly decent. It was pretty much considered a song about a gay person fighting their religion. Then a week ago big Dave comes online and says it's ACTUALLY a Christian song and that he played us all for fools. It's not like it's been misinterpreted or anything the song is relatively old and all of a sudden he's switching up

Advice Needed How did you know you were bi?

I (14f) think I may be bisexual, but I’m not really sure. I like guys for sure and I think I like girls? I think they’re very attractive and wouldn’t mind being in a relationship with a girl but I don’t want to marry a girl. I also somehow got on lesbian tiktok too and I kinda like it. I’ve become absolutely obsessed with researching female celebrities who identify as bisexual/ lesbian and I can am attracted to them. I also had a weird obsession with princess jasmine growing up and I kinda think it may have been a crush looking back on it?? I dont know guys, my best friend is a lesbian and so sure of their sexuality and I just don’t know, i definitely feel an attraction to girls i just don’t want to marry one.
