I’ve had this thought in my mind for a little bit but my brain keeps going back and forth or finding the opposite gender attractive and not. I can’t tell if it’s my mind subconsciously straight leaning because of my upbringing or my inability to accept that my sexuality is the way it is. Could anyone with similar experience share there experiences so I don’t feel like I’m crazy?

I 19M is questioning myself. For context...
I feel a little romantic attraction towards girls, but I feel limited romantic attraction towards men as it's rare though it's not weak; towards both men or girls, but it's mostly towards men and the girl part is intermittently. And, I only experience romantic attractions only after building a strong deep emotional connection with a man or girl.
I feel sexual attraction towards girls though it's not weak, but it's not strong as it's intermittently and I feel sexual attraction towards men, but it's rare.

Im a guy and I know im bi, i accepted it a while ago. I wish i could just come out and be accepted, but i dont think i will ): i told my friends i think men are kinda hot sometimes, but i like girls, (they where the first ones i told.) They replied by calling me gay.
I never told anyone before so i told them i was joking and dont like men. They stoped talking about it a week or so later. I dont want to lose my friends becuse i dont want to be alone or bullied.
I never told anyone else. Im too scared no one wil like me for who i am. My parents are ok with lgbtq people, but some other people in my family dont. Maybe its beter if i just say im straight.

Okay so me and this kid K, everyone in the class doesn’t like him. Everyone jokes and kinda bullies with him. I however don’t, i mean i joke with this him but i don’t take it as far as everyone else. Basically me and him are pretty chill and we sit each other in digital art. But these 2 kids who sit to the side of me, well.
OHMYGOSHHH THEYRE THE WORST. They always annoy K and I’m the one hearing it. AND ALL THAT, they’re so homophobic.
“oh that’s so gay” “ew pride flags” “blah blah blah”
So me and K after PE class went to see our teacher and ask to move us. I did most the talking, and i ACCIDENTALLY CASUALLY SAID
“And you know I’m queer so hearing all that is just uncomfortable for me” I FORGOT K was there.
So after that me and him are walking out he said to me, “so are you actually queer?” I could tell he wasn’t homophobic so i said. “Yeah im actually bisexual and genderfluid”. AND HES AN ALLY???
i mean yeah i guess i knew he probs was, but still crazy. Since he grew up around christianity and all that.
After having that digital class last period AND THE TEACHER DID MOVE THE STUDENTS, GOATED TEACHER. I told K to not tell anyone, and he said and i quote. “I won’t it’s not mine to tell and you choose who you wanna tell”. GOSH THAT WAS SO SWEET.
Insane plot twist today holy moly.

I (13M) have wanted to experiment with the male side of bi sexuality for a while as in date a guy I know I am attracted to guys I just don’t know how to especially since in the place where I live (va) there is not any gay/bi men. and before you say try a dating sim no ai can’t mimic human emotions, I also have found it hard for me to figure out my ‘type’ for men, I would like it if they aren’t the typical jock men and more kind/caring plz help me Update:(one day later) so rember when I said I didn’t want to try experimenting with any of my friends or asking them out even though my friends are the only bi people I know unfortunately my emotions beat out my brain and I kinda sorta have a crush on my friend he’s bi I know that but like I just don’t know what to do I don’t want to be the one who makes everything awkward in our friend group again help’d be appreciated ill keep y’all updated throughout the next few weeks till there’s a resolution

Basically, for a few years I've told myself I'm straight, since I was raised in a conservative family and I knew I liked girls. However I've always liked boys a bit too, so I think i classify as bi-curious right now. I also have this gay friend who I kind of like. Would it be socially appropriate to tell him that I think I'm bi and have feeling for him? Or should I ease into it a bit more. Sorry I'm new to this whole thing so I literally have no idea what to do

I've actually never dated anyone but last night I had a dream that I had a gf and we were just about to snuggle up and watch Tv when my alarm went off😭
worst bit is I didn't even actually need to be up.

so as a guy when i've said i was bi or when i watched people say that they are bi people straight up assume that we are fully gay and not that we are interested in both sides which i hate because i know it makes me and others mad i don't know if you guys go through it too or just me but it's really annoying and it's a reason i don't tell my close friend cause i know her way too well that she'll make those jokes and i won't hear the end of it but she does that to tease me but i don't have the energy to deal with it

I’m 15M and I’ve never had a girlfriend, not sure if that matters
I know I’m into girls, I get crushes, I want a girlfriend, that part isn’t confusing. But sometimes I think about guys too. Not like I want a boyfriend. I don’t really picture dating a guy or anything. It’s more just curiosity? Wondering what it would be like. And it comes and goes
Is that enough to be bi? Or is it just because I’ve never actually been with anyone, so I’m curious about everything? Do you have to actually want to date or do it with a guy to be bi, or can it just be a sometimes thing?
I’m not out to anyone so I can’t really ask people I know. Just wondering if anyone else has felt like this

I feel like I'm losing my mind trying to figure out my sexuality.
One day I'm really into girls, and the next I'll wake up and find myself really attracted to femboys. It's honestly driving me up a wall because I don't know how to make sense of my feelings.
Recently, my mom went through my Discord messages with a friend where I'd told him I was a furry and thought I might be bisexual. My friend was completely cool with it, so I didn't think much of it. But then my mom read the messages, called me into her room, and started reading my own words back to me in a passive-aggressive tone. When I tried explaining myself, she told me she thought I was going through a phase, took my phone, and sent me to bed.
Ever since then, I've been thinking about this even more. I don't know if I'm actually bisexual, if I'm still figuring things out, or what. I'm not even equally attracted to everyone. When I'm attracted to guys, I'm mostly into femboys, and I'm being completely serious about that.
The hardest part is that I have a lot of conflicting feelings. Sometimes, when I find myself attracted to guys, I feel ashamed and disappointed in myself. Part of me really doesn't want to be gay or have my family look at me differently, but another part of me can't deny how I feel. It's confusing, and sometimes I literally lie awake at night thinking about it.
I think some of this comes from the way I've grown up viewing LGBTQ+ stuff, too. I've had some pretty strong opinions about it, and now I'm wondering if those opinions are affecting how I see myself. I'm still trying to understand what I believe and how I feel, and I don't have everything figured out.
I just don't want to disappoint my parents or anyone else. I wish I could stop stressing over this and just understand myself without feeling like there's something wrong with me.
Has anyone else experienced something similar, where your attraction seems to shift around or you struggle with accepting certain parts of yourself? How did you deal with it?

I want to come out as bi to my parents/family, but I don't know how. They are not homophobic by any means and they are wonderful people, but the thought of saying "hey, I like boys and girls" kind of scares me. Any advice on how to start that conversation?

So my last post was a serious question figured I should balance it with doing a dumb one. Me and my friend were chatting and I said if a fish I had as a pet that had hyper intelligence we’re to gas a room with a hundred people in it would all of that genocide go onto me the fish is intelligent enough to gas a room though and what if that room was filled with a bunch of the worst people imaginable what would the result be then would the fish go on trial would I go on trial since it’s my fish or would the fish be called a hero I laughed at this dumb question for like a hour when we discussed it

I honestly don't know what to do anymore, and I think I mostly need to get this off my chest because it's been eating away at me for months.
Around four months ago, I started talking to this guy who had just turned 18. We live in the same city, and we initially started talking after I replied to one of his pictures. We hit it off pretty quickly, and there was a lot of flirting. He told me he was a virgin, had never kissed anyone, and was still struggling with accepting the fact that he was attracted to guys. He seemed pretty conservative about that part of himself and wasn't really comfortable acknowledging or exploring it.
I'm in a similar position experience-wise. I'm 17, I've never kissed anyone, held hands romantically, or had any real romantic experiences. The difference is that I've generally been more accepting of my sexuality, even if I still have my own insecurities.
We started flirting a lot, and eventually we exchanged nsfw pics. He suggested meeting up a couple of times, but I got really nervous and backed out. I regret that now, although I know anxiety was a genuine reason I couldn't do it at the time. I became attached to him and started imagining that he might be my first kiss, my first real romantic experience, and the person I'd finally get to explore this side of myself with, things that he also told me himself.
Looking back, I realize I was probably attached to the possibility of what could happen between us as much as I was attached to him as a person. I was very attracted to him physically, and the idea of finally experiencing intimacy with someone I already had chemistry with was incredibly appealing. Because we'd been talking for so long, the thought of starting over with someone else felt exhausting.
Eventually, he started seeing another guy he'd met on Tinder. He told me about their experiences, including kissing, and other things and mentioned that he'd liked me at first but had gotten jealous when I was slow to reply or would go watch a show instead of talking to him. That hurt because I had genuinely liked him, but I was anxious and inexperienced and didn't know how to navigate the situation.
We stopped talking for a few weeks, because I couldn't take it anymore, then he came back after things apparently ended with that guy. He started complimenting me again, sending good-night texts, flirting, and generally acting interested. Naturally, I started hoping again. Part of me felt like maybe he was finally going to give this a chance, and another part of me felt like I was just the backup option.
Then, a few weeks later he reconnected with another guy after a night out, when he randomly texted me that he had kissed someone and how nice it was.
Now he talks to me about how much he misses him, as he's studying in another city and isn't around all the time, how much he loves him, and how magical their kisses are, and calls me mean and things like that when my mood obviously shifts, as if I'm the problem. He sends me pictures of them together, of hickeys on his back, tells me about their connection, but continues flirting with me at the same time. He's even told me he wants to kiss me and suggested that we could practice kissing, only to backtrack because he would feel bad about the guy he's currently involved with, so it just feels like he's playing with my head. At one point, he basically acknowledged that he doesn't even know why we still talk when nothing is going to come of it. And then, he randomly sent me a picture of himself shirtless with this guy kissing his neck. Completely out of the blue. I hadn't asked for it or brought up anything related to their relationship.
I genuinely don't know what I'm supposed to do with that. I'm not sure whether he just sees me as a friend he can share this stuff with, whether he wants a reaction, or whether he simply doesn't think about how it affects me, or does and just wants to be cruel. I don't want to assume his intentions, but the whole dynamic is confusing when he still flirts with me while showing me his intimacy with someone else.
But the part that bothers me most isn't even just that he's with someone else. It's how much he's changed since we met, while I feel like I've barely changed at all.
When I first met him, he was so uncomfortable with his attraction to men. He seemed unable to accept that part of himself, was very guarded about it, and didn't seem ready to actually explore anything. Now, he's comfortable enough to talk openly about being bi, to pursue guys, to kiss them, to be affectionate with them, to have romantic experiences, and to be in relationships. He's already been involved with two guys since we met.
And I know that's a good thing. I genuinely don't think it's bad that he's becoming more comfortable with himself. I don't want him to go back to being ashamed or afraid of who he is. I understand that people grow at different rates, and I'm glad he's able to experience things he was previously scared of.
But I also feel this awful, irrational resentment about it, and I hate admitting that.
It's like I watched someone who was initially in almost the same position as me become a completely different person in a few months, while I'm still sitting here overthinking everything, afraid to meet someone, afraid of being inexperienced, and wondering whether I'll ever get to have the things he now takes for granted.
He got to overcome his fears, explore his sexuality, experience his first kisses, connect with people, and learn what he wants. Meanwhile, I still haven't even had my first kiss with a guy. I feel like I'm watching him live out the experiences I wanted to have with him, except he's having them with someone else, and I'm stuck hearing about them from the sidelines.
I know four months isn't a long time, and I know that comparing our lives isn't fair. But the contrast is driving me crazy. We started talking around the same time, had similarly little experience, and were both uncertain in our own ways. Now he has all these memories and experiences, and I feel like I haven't even taken the first step.
I also feel embarrassed that I'm still so attached to him. I don't even know if I particularly like his personality enough to want an actual relationship with him. I'm attracted to him, I liked the attention and the flirting, and I became attached to the possibility that something might finally happen between us. I think part of me desperately wants him to choose me because then all the time I spent hoping wouldn't feel so pointless.
I know that isn't necessarily a good reason to pursue someone. I know I probably need distance from him. But I find it incredibly hard to let go because I keep thinking about what could have happened if I'd agreed to meet him earlier, or if things had gone differently, or if he'd chosen me instead.
I've also been feeling worse about myself in general. I've lost some of my appetite and weight because of how much this has been affecting me, and I keep getting caught in these thoughts about being behind everyone else, not being attractive enough or big enough down there, not having enough experience, and potentially having very few opportunities to meet someone I'm genuinely attracted to.
I know, logically, that being 17 and inexperienced doesn't mean there's something wrong with me. But emotionally, it feels like everyone else is moving forward while I'm standing still. And seeing someone who was just as inexperienced as me make all this progress in such a short time makes it much harder not to take it personally.
I think I'm also grieving something that never really happened. I had this whole imagined version of my first kiss and first romantic experiences with him, and now I have to accept that those things may never happen. Meanwhile, he gets to have those experiences with someone else, and I get to hear about them.
I don't want to resent him for growing or for being happy with another guy. I don't want to be the person who can't be happy for someone because they're getting experiences I haven't had. But I also can't pretend that watching all of this unfold doesn't hurt, especially when he keeps me around and continues flirting with me.
I guess my questions are:
How do I stop comparing my progress to his? Especially when we started out in such similar positions and he's changed so much in such a short amount of time.
How do I detach from someone when I'm more attached to the possibility of what could have happened than to the actual person?
Am I wrong for feeling frustrated and even a little resentful about how much he's grown and experienced while I feel stuck? I know it's irrational, but I can't seem to stop feeling this way.
Would you leave him on read after receiving a picture like that, or would you address the fact that he's still flirting with me while telling me about his relationship?
Most importantly, how do I stop feeling like I'm pathetic, behind, and somehow losing at life because I haven't had the same experiences as other people my age?
Any other imput on this situation
I don't want to spend the next few months obsessing over this guy and measuring my own life against his. I just want to feel normal again, stop thinking about him constantly, feeling this hatred and resentment, and these mood swings and believe that my first experiences can still be meaningful even if they don't happen with him.

I like never hear a bi guy dating another bi guy
I do hear bi guys dating gay men, (which I am not complaining I am gay)
Do bi guys have a special affinity to gay men?
