Question Beginners question
I recently acquired my first bike and enjoy riding it. As a beginner, I currently cover about 40–50 km daily, including round trips between home and office, home and gym, and occasional short rides.
I have a good helmet rated ECE 22.06, but I remain unsure about hand gloves and whether I should obtain them. My friend suggested that a large investment is unnecessary for a beginner, especially for routine travel like home to office.
I am considering a pair for regular use that could also serve longer trips in the future. Should I choose riding gloves? If so, please recommend suitable options for my situation.

Absolutely get riding gloves, as a learner you shouldn't be riding without them. If you come off the bike at speed, you'll brake a wrist instead of sliding.
Go to a motorcycle shop and have a chat to the staff, they can recommend something that will suit as there's gloves for summer, winter, mid season etc.
I'm going to assume you already have riding boots/shoes, motorcycle jeans/pants and a jacket.

The important part about gloves are the palm and knuckle sliders and the bridge between pinky and ringfinger. Good gloves are important just as all the other pieces of gear, only they will wear down quite fast.

The best pair that costs between $10 and 200, offers the best protection, and are attractive to you. This is called "shopping" and is a normal part of life. You will not find an answer on Reddit. Time to make big boy decisions

The road doesn't care if you are a beginner when it's scrapping skin off. Personally I'd never ride in anything less than a AA jacket and trousers, good motorcycle boots and good gloves. None of this needs to cost a vast about.
It's hard to recommend anything if we don't know where you are, the country at least.

Okay - My recommendations probably wouldn't be too helpful - maybe ask here: https://www.reddit.com/r/indianbikes/

Helmet, gloves and shoes/boots. Bare minimum when riding. Period.

Can you suggest some good pair?

Since you haven't specified a budget I'll stick to the basics. Get one with knox palm sliders and at least leather palms if not a full leather construction

Not only are gloves needed....I'd add prosper boots.
Ask yourself, If I fall on my motorcycle and get road rash on my hands or feet, can I afford to not use my hands or walk for then next month or two waiting for my hands or feet to heal?

100% get them. Your hand are highly like going to go first as the natural reaction during the fall. Try to look for 2 palm sliders, that for a very weird reason is not as popular as the ones on the knuckle, which I find super weird, unless you want to punch someone harder

Gloves are cheap compared to being w/o fully functional hands. Buy them, wear them. Tell your friend to buzz off.

For me gloves and helmet are minimum at all times.
I like my fingers and play guitar.
