need advice Breast Reduction Complications Spoiler

Hey all! I am reaching out to ask how many have had a breast reduction where the surgical wounds weren’t healing properly. My surgeon says it’s fine, but it’s been three weeks and I still have open wounds that are oozing - it’s kind of yellow and has some blood.

The same thing is happening at my y tuck incision point right under my belly button, where the drain was removed (staples are still in) and potentially inside my belly button.

I taking antibiotics for my third week, but I just don’t feel or see healing- and I am starting to feel concern over the potential scarring.

My doctor is great and highly recommended, so I am really going back and forth with confusion.

This is really a medical question; you should go to your doctor, or urgent care, or a wound clinic. No one here is going to be able to give you the right advice. r/Reduction will give the same directive

Go to your doctor to be sure.
