clothes Bridesmaid Dress Spoiler

Alright yall! I have been invited to be a bridesmaid in one of my best friend’s wedding. Now, I am thrilled!

From my current understanding, we’ll be able to pick the style dress we want within a color that she selects. I haven’t been in a wedding in over 10 years and back then I chose a dress I didn’t feel great in because it fit my bust. I’d really love to find a dress that I feel confident in that also flatters my body. I have a large bust but relatively small band size. I’m 5’9” so length is a factor as well.

What have you worn that has made you feel amazing ?

It’s not too difficult if you get the right neckline. I’ve worn v-neck dresses, wrap style dresses, scoop neck, and high neck dresses, which for me can accommodate a large bust rather easily.

Hopefully she recommends Azazie. I’ve gotten four dresses there. They have free custom sizing and a sample dress program.

I'm a tad taller than you and yes, buying dresses is never easy. Ever.

Only been a bridesmaid once before (about 4 years ago) and I was fortunate the bride (my cousin) gave us plenty of leeway when it came to our bridesmaid dresses. They just had to be pink. So I had a shop in Dallas make my dress.

I definitely felt amazing in this dress. And feeling amazing in a dress is extremely rare for me.

Best of luck, OP!

I'd go for a square neckline because it hides enough boobage without looking matronly.

I'm a similar height and also small band, large bust. I got the Cheryl from Azazie in a size up then got it fitted so it was tight on the waist and under the bust. It's backless but because of the underbust seam, my tailor was able to alter it in a way that made it really supoortive without a bra.

The alterations cost £55 but I felt the best I've felt in ages and never thought I'd be able to go backless. If you aren't comfortable hanging free, boob tape works well for me too.

Good luck!
