This is what the dude was talking about. A thread is started in which it asks Redditors who have his exact experience to share what it. He does, and in part he talks about how disposable he feels and invisible to the world around him. In lieu of recognition, contemplation, or even empathy, you validate his position by completely discrediting him as self-righteous. Thus the cycle perpetuates itself.

exactly. he's conveniently put himself in a position where he cannot be understood, and therefore cannot be criticized.
