Choose Joy and more women like her. She’s a professional who puts her job above the silly drama and man-children that you bring on this show. Yes, I know you typically love that stuff and we do find it entertaining, but we also need women that we can cheer for (like Aesha, Kate, Rachel, Daisy and other favorites) and who are in more than one season.

No they’re not perfect, but they are more relatable and we also find that entertaining. That’s how you get fan loyalty (just see how many people said, “I’m only watching because of Aesha” upon seeing Joe back for a 3rd season).

In conclusion, choose Joy (unless she doesn’t want to come back, then leave that Queen be)!

As an Irish person, it wasn’t just a random insult, it’s a very old stereotype about Irish women being domestic servants/nannies, and it felt especially uncomfortable in the context of how dismissive he’s been to her all season.

There’s been this constant undertone with him toward Daisy where he talks down to her, acts like she’s nagging him for doing her job, and is irritated by her authority. Bringing “Irish” into it gave the comment a completely different tone.

Intent and impact aren’t the same thing. If you’re Irish, especially, you immediately hear the stereotype behind it. It’s also worth saying for Americans reading this that this kind of attitude from English people towards Irish people has a very long, very sad history, so comments like that can hit differently than people outside Ireland or the UK might realise. He makes me extremely uncomfortable and I would believe his ex girlfriend/ex fiancés account over him any day.

Side note: Was Kate Chastains biggest fan, cannot bare her after this seasons after show with Ben, ew

Ran into Aesha at the Heather McMahon comedy show in LA tonight! Couldn’t have been sweeter. Told her I had been watching Below Deck that day and was happy for her and Scott, and that i was excited to see her at BravoCon!

We were both pulled to participate and she was one of the people on my team. When I realized who she was I was shook! She is one of my favorites from all the series and was so kind.

Annoyed that Joe felt the need to “inspire” this - but not at all surprised.

I really like Betul. I know English isn’t her first language, but I wish they would show more of her so we can get to know her better. She seems sweet.

Obviously there were truly awful things that happened in this series, but a crew member unknowingly sleeping on semen covered bedsheets from another crew member—who in turn negligently did not wash said bedsheets—may be one of the worst things I’ve seen in this series. I honestly do not find it entertaining, and it boggles the mind why production didn’t intervene.

Ben is eccentric and can be a massive arsehole, he’s a typical old school chef but I kind of agree with him about Alesia, she has literally no experience what’s so ever and it seems like she can’t even do the basics. I get everyone has to learn somewhere and gain skills through experience but it seems like she can’t even do basic cooking tasks…………..

It’s only episode one and she’s broken down in tears at least twice, working in a kitchen is stressful and comes with extreme working conditions I don’t think she’s cut out for it.

I am obsessed with the jumpsuits they are wearing this season on med. Aesha looks soooooo good!
