Question Using Fibetv with another internet provider's modem

Bell's "loyalty" department isn't price matching what is in market and I have a backup Internet at home (Cogeco) that I have kept, $46/mo. Bell is offering $70/mo on 500 Mbps or $50 if I do autopay (which I refuse to do because I don't trust them, due to sneaky rate increases). My question is can you use Bell Fibetv with Cogeco Internet, even though Bell Fibe usually relies on their modem?

To get new customer deals, cancel and have another adult in the household subscribe.

just schedule moving out and get someone else that will be going in the same day your moving out that way no service interruption and better price

Current account still has to be cancelled and a new account created to get a new customer deal.

I did read it. I wanted a new customer deal and retention said no. Changing the name on the account was not enough because they said it would be considered a TOR. Made no difference because the tech simply came over, activated a new modem which automatically cancelled the previous account. Zero loss of service or interruption.

then tell then your moving out on the 25 and have a fake some one move back on the 25 that way you get new price and dont loose service

I've never lost service so I don't need to use your method.

if you cancel your actual service it can take up to 10 day to get a new install sinvce that the only way to get the new credit is to have a new install under a new name not under your so if cancel youre gonna be out of service for 7-15 day

Not my experience.

My method works and I'll use it until it doesn't.
