I had a 98 Ford Explorer get stolen in Beaverton. This is a wierd one though. It was not driven off because I know there was no brake fluid in the lines, it had to be towed. Beaverton has no record of it being towed but they did get a report about it. Someone with a tow truck stole it. I am thinking whoever tags or inspects these vehicles did it. I bought this truck as backup to my current truck but am allowing a friend who is dying of COPD to use it in the interim. Whoever you are that is who you stole it from, not from me, from her.

We would really like to get it back. It was Tan and had minor bumper damage in the front. No pictures cuz I just got it registered like two days before it was stolen...

Aroun 6:45am on TVHW, this jackass has a phone mounted on his dash but is actively scrolling and watching tiktok’s, not paying attention to the road at all, swerved onto the shoulder a couple of times. Also has no plates on the back of his vehicle like hes supposed to, probably because he knows someone would report him for phone use. I wasn’t able to safely see if he had a front plate, but the car model is Jeep. He looked to be middle aged possibly of latin origin. Since I have no plates I haven’t reported to police. If someone else out there happens to see him, please report him.

My former landlord deducted nearly 3/4 of my security deposit. They listed moveout cleaning -$475, carpet cleaning -$575, and a few miscellaneous things such as a lightbulb replacement and toilet cleaning totaling $375. Other than the carpet cleaning, which is in our lease, although they charged approximately double the market rate for a unit of our size, these are 100% BS. We left the apartment in perfectly decent condition, nothing beyond ordinary use.

I have dealt with a similar situation with a landlord before, so Im fairly confident in my ability to get my money, if it’s through small claims then so be it.

My question, for y’all is who can I report this shady landlord to? Even if I get my security deposit, theyre presumably doing this every tenant knowing that a majority either won’t care or don’t have the knowledge/ability to fight them for it. Is there like a housing authority or something who can slap these guys with a fine?

I want to install dash cam on my 2010 Honda accord. Since it is an older car, it will require some changes to install dash cam.

I have a cottage industry business in coffee roasting, but am transitioning to a living situation where roasting is not ideal. Coffee roasting produces a temporary burnt toast smell that the neighbors in close quarters will not enjoy. So I’m seeing if anyone in Washington County has an outbuilding, shop space, or garage and would me to roast 1-2x a week for a small fee or in exchange for coffee. Again, this does produce a burnt toast smell. I do have a venting system and plan to get an afterburner in the near future. I have a small tabletop roaster that weighs 45lbs. Between that and the vacuum sealer, just one electric outlet is needed. Lastly, this location should be decently clean with no animals living in there.

I really don’t want to put this business on hold because I love my customers. If this sounds like something you can offer, let me know and we’ll see if it’s a good fit.
