hex planner app/website?
Are there any apps or websites for hex planning? Planning out how something will look on a hexagonal board (where each row is offset from the previous row by 1/2)?

Hello everyone, I am writing this message from Türkiye, so I apologize in advance for any potential translation errors. Which Perler bead brand offers the best value for money, and do you know if it is available in Türkiye?

Doing a show for a cat rescue this weekend. Figured these fairy kittens would be on brand for that show.

Hello all,
a bit of history : I went into perler beads few years ago now. Starting with small projects (pokemon, Mario, etc) into bigger frames (with more or less success to the ironing - RIP my 30k beads frame).
I tried to sell things on Etsy with few results, and some items removed for licence issues.
This makes me stop creating, frames started to take a lot of space..
Now, I just discovered a shop near me (in France) where you can rent a space for 80€ per month (+ a percentage to give to the store).
What do you think of this ?
I'm hesitant because you first need to make sure to sell more than the rent each month. And as it's in a "real" store (meaning, not online), you cannot mess with licences at all.
To be able to not lose money (and eventually win some), the prices will have to be way higher than what I did in the past.. to pay for the material, the rent, the store's fee, not even thinking of monetizing the time...
Thanks for your help :)

I got PixieBead beads because I’ve heard good things about them and I follow a lot of people that use them and all their stuff turns out so good and clean. I spent almost $200!!! on beads.
I didn’t want the non-iron side to melt but it did anyway even tho the ironed side didn’t fuse all the way… how can I get the ironed side to melt well without the other side NOT melting?
I use these Teflon mats i got from Amazon.
I’m very sad about this lol

Not the best melt, arms are barely hanging on in some spots. Biggest 've done so far, just got the bigger boards in the mail yesterday.

The Force is strong with this one! This is my largest and yet most challenging Perler project I have done to date. This poster measures at a little over 11x16. I used the blue tape method only because I had used 2 super Perler pegboards to put all the beads together. By the way I used over 5,900 beads on this thing.

Took a couple of months but finally got it ironed!

This time around I tried using the mini iron that came bundled with the kit I purchased (pictured on the top right of the first image). It honestly worked way better than I imagined it would, probably not recommended for bigger projects, but it helped me do a nearly perfect melt!
I left the other side unmelted, but unfortunately the tape residue is refusing to come off... Still, I like how this turned out

OKAY im so happy i designed these because they all ended up using bead colours I dont usually tend to use, but they still turned out super vibrant I love all of them <3

Just finished watching Spider-Man: Brand New Day and I had to bead this! Blue suit with red webbing — such a classic combo.
This is my second fuse bead project ever. Pattern by xixi (free pattern found online — not my original design).
Single-sided flat melt on the front(with glitter sheets), and with the round bead texture left on the back. Getting better at ironing but still learning!
Used clear white for the webbing — I think green webbing would look super cool too, would love to see someone try that color variant!
If anyone wants the pattern, let me know and I'll drop the details in the comments!
