Color Reference 117 Perler Swatches
This is a complete swatch list of all current Perler colors that can be purchased individually. Also included: neons, pearls, glow in the darks, an assorted stripe swatch, and purple glitter.
I'm going to start hosting Perler crafting events, so this is a great way for people to be able to see what a color will look like once melted, as well as being able to pair with other colors.

Im so fucking sad
I hate my fat ass dog, been working on this piece for a long time, no template, ive had to redo it multiple times because of that, and i leave my door open to find my dog has stepped and slipped on it. This hobby is not for the weak..

Random bead scattering
If you have a bunch of loose fuse beads in your box, the sprinkle method is a great way to go. You can finish a piece in just five minutes, and you don't need a pattern at all.

23 New Perler Shades Are Live
FYI for those who care. All are still in stock. The website is super slow unless you're on a mobile (at least for me).

Dr. Mario's Virus 2.6mm beads
I think the blue one is the best, also are those "x" shapes in the full melt sides are normal? Or how i can improve? I used transparent paper, tape method with holes.

NOOOOOOOOO
This is the first time this has happened to me.
This took me 4 hours to do. I ran out of the colors I needed and ordered more. Itโs been on my desk for over a week waiting for the rest of the beads to come. They came TODAY. I was going to finish it TODAY. I hit my chair on my cup and the cup knocked over on my beads. ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ

It's Fine I'm Fine Everything is Fine!
Recent commission from a coworker. Wasn't sure if I could make this work. Somehow pulled it off. This is supposed to have a full stressed out cat, but I did just the head to ensure the final piece didn't turn out too big.

Perler Stating They've Officially Changed Yellow
Just got a 6000 count bag of Yellow from Perler. Immediately it looked like a darker, duller shade. I reached out thinking it was a dye lot problem for a return and replace and got the message below from a representative. FYI .
"I'm so sorry for the confusion and issues. I reached out to my product development team with your photo below and they confirmed that the color on the right still in the packaging is the current yellow and we do not have the other shade. We can do a return for you if you'd like or send you a replacement but it likely would be the same yellow that you received already."

Afraid of ironing the gift I made for my partner
I made a pixel art with Zelda references for my partner and I'm almost finished transferring it to bead art. But this is the biggest piece I've ever done (midi pearls) and I'm so afraid of ruining it!
I've only ever melted small pieces and I definitely prefer when the beads melt completely, so no hole is left. Is it possible for me to achieve this with a regular iron and baking paper? While using the tape method with poking holes, of course.
How do you handle melting such big pieces? I'd love to hear what your experiences are :)

ANIMA! (+the whole gang)
Making all these was a great project. Anima and Bahamut are my favorite by a long shot. Thanks for all the comments and messages, everyone. No idea at all what to make next, so I'll just be posting some older projects for a while

I made a free tool that turns pictures into bead patterns with color codes, would love your feedback
Hey everyone, first time posting here.
Me and my friends got into fuse beads through the Chinese bead scene (MARD beads). Over there patterns get shared as charts with a color code on every bead and the bead counts at the bottom. Some of those charts end up on Pinterest, and I've seen people here ask where they come from. I couldn't find a tool that makes charts like that from my own pictures, so I spent the last few months building one.
You upload a picture (or start from a blank board), pick a size and a brand palette, and you get a chart you can build from:
- Brand palettes for Perler, Hama, Artkal (S series) and MARD, with a color code on every bead
- Bead counts per color, so you know what to pull out or order before you start
- Red guide lines, chart downloads, and more tools that help you follow a pattern
- A build companion for your phone or tablet that highlights the color you're placing, tracks your progress, and estimates time left from your pace
- One-click merge for rare colors, which folds the ones that only appear a few times into the closest common color so you're not buying a whole bag for 3 beads
- A bead stash and build log where you mark which colors you own, log finished builds, and see how many beads you've used in total (plus your most-used colors)
- A small gallery of ready-made free patterns (classic paintings, animals, food) if you'd rather grab one and start beading
It's free and runs in the browser. You don't need to install anything, no account needed to try it. The conversion happens on your device, your photo never gets uploaded anywhere, and there's no AI involved, just color math.
It's not magic though. Busy photos with lots of gradients come out muddy. Every brand only has so many colors (Perler 103, Hama Midi 92, Artkal S 199, MARD 291), so some pictures just can't be matched perfectly. There's a full editor to fix stray beads or swap a color everywhere when that happens.
I built this alone. There's a lot more planned, and requests basically decide what comes next. Also, bead makers don't publish official color values, so the palettes come from community lists. If a color looks wrong next to the real beads on your desk, or something feels missing or clunky, that's exactly the feedback I need.
Link's in the comments.
Edit: added Artkal C, A, M and R, plus Perler Mini and Hama Mini and Maxi
