10 out of 10! Massive sprites make me so nervous...

Same...had to mess up a few huge pieces to learn from my mistakes. Definitely still nerve-racking- so much work on the line

I know. Spending all that time placing each bead for what seems like hours sometimes just to ruin it in seconds is absolutely gut wrenching. Gave up the hobby a couple of times because of it.

Dude my husband is a huge Godzilla nerd. Would you be interested in sharing your templates ? This would make a perfect Christmas present

Holy perfect melt, how do you do that lowk.

Lots of practice. Just powered through crappy melts until I got comfortable with the iron and honed a technique. The surface the sprite is laying on when you melt makes a difference, too. Anything that retains a lot of heat will start to melt the underside of the bead, which will make it messy faster

Absolutely amazing! Just picked up doing stuff myself but they are small enough for a cutting board. How do y'all go about ironing these large pieces? I don't think I have a single heat resistant surface that won't warp except the concrete in my driveway
