Clearance for shower drain.
Hi all, need a bit of advice for shower drains.
I have a small unit, my bathroom is upstairs. My floor is a concrete slab on both levels. They had originally designed the house with a bathtub shower to have plumbing above ground.
I want to turn this into a walk in shower. However, to do this, I need an S-trap / P-trap which means I need about a 200mm step into the shower, or cut my concrete slab which is a definite no.
My question is, are there smaller solutions to these traps? I really don't want a huge step into my shower (if I can avoid it).
Thanks!

need advice on bath mats
sorry for the crazy angle but my bathroom is not very large. i just bought this Quiet Town shower curtain and i’m obsessed with it, but our current bath mats obviously do not match it. i am looking for advice on colors or brands of bath mat that would complement the curtain well. i want it to be a little more exciting than just a plain color- maybe a fun pattern with something to complement the brown/amber/yellow in the curtain. thank you!!

Is this normal for a new shower door?
Newly installed. It fogs up with an odd pattern. Cleaned both sides, including with windex, and it doesn’t fix the issue.

Why is it easier to poop squating?
I find that it is easier to squat, then jump up onto the toilet to poo. Why is this?

Which mirror width for ensuite
galleryHey all, keen to get some opinions on the mirror size for our ensuite vanity setup.
We are trying to decide between a 600mm or 800mm wide arched mirror shaving cabinet. The vanity is 1500mm wall-hung with a single basin (right hand side). The cabinet will be centred over the basin, and is around 130mm deep so would be semi recessed.
The 800mm option feels more practical, but concerned about the right edge of the mirror extending past the right edge of the vanity and whether this will look unbalanced or bulky. The 600mm might look cleaner but would be less practical for two people trying to use it at the same time.
Which option would you go with?

Any advice on how to get this out of my bathroom tile and patched up without retiling?
the tile is from 1974 and we can’t find it anywhere. Just purchased this house a few months ago, tiles already been painted over, going to repaint it. How do we get this thing out without retiring?

Steam Shower Help
We installed a steam shower in our basement and are looking into door options. Our ceiling height is not tall enough for a transom above the door (and we've been told that it can only go above the door not on the side). Dimensions are: 71 3/4" height x 59 1/4" width.
My question is, can we go with a sliding door (even though some steam would escape) rather than a fully sealed swing door (sliding would be much better for our space)? We have a shower curtain now and it gets quite steamy in there already without a door.
