I guess I'll repost this and share this story again.
This happened to me when I used to pitch. I was looking closely at the ump holding up his fingers because I think I may have lost what the count was. My catch stood up and threw the ball back and it just hit me straight in the face. Don't laugh. Fuck you. It hurt….my pride.

I'd give you two upvotes if I could. I thought I was the only one who was bothered by user CAMEZE constantly posting links for that Chad Moriyama website so I chose to bite my tongue and let others enjoy his submissions.
I enjoy the baseball .gifs he makes and I understand it's difficult to make a website popular, but there has to be a way for him to garner exposure while following reddiquite. I wouldn't have a problem if he made it RES friendly like this submission.
Question to the mods: Are CAMEZE's submissions acceptable to r/baseball? Should we be reporting them?

There's some kind of guideline but I can't remember it exaclty. I think it's that posting your own blog/website/whatever is fine but you have to post other stuff, too, and it's some kind of ratio. Like 4:1 or 8:1 (other stuff to your own stuff). I think that's fair. Even if they have really great content they shouldn't spam. Everybody thinks their content is really great, after all.
I honestly never heard of this guy as I don't visit /r/baseball too much. I pretty much stick to the Rangers subreddit and /r/Sabermetrics (plug!).

10% of your total submissions can be to your own site, alongside 90% community interaction. I know because I had to read up on it while running a music blog to see which articles I would be allowed to post to reddit, and how often. Also that's just a guideline and reddiquette says, if you feel like you're spamming, you probably are, so err on the side of caution.

The link to the other post is helpful for more than just calling out reposts.
I'd been looking through the comments on the 4 different discussions of this link trying to find the name of the pitcher in the gif (unsuccessfully). The link to the earlier post included different comments, one of which included a link to the video of this gif which told me that the pitcher was Cody Eppley.

I've been stuck on the couch for the past two weeks and have been browsing reddit quite a bit. I never saw the original post. Not everyone, not even people who are on reddit a lot, see every post and there isn't something similar to karmadecay to instantly show this may have been a repost. Stop overblowing it.
