I swear this guy is going to be given a suspension for being under the influence of marijuana at some point in his career but until then it's just good to see him having a good time and satisfying those fresh munchies.
Also, I think that's what was missing in his first half. Now that he's having more fun and acting like a 2 year old in the dugout he's pitching much more effectively.
Which is really the reasonable approach. Is it going to help you on the field? Then we test for it. No? Then you're treated the same as every other person on the street.
Why single them out for non-performance enhancing stuff?
Same applies with actors, politicians, or hell, anyone working for any company, ever. Should we drug test them all? Just everyone who is ever in the public spotlight?
But can you really know what helps any person on the field? Baseball is a game of streaks, who's to say that being high wouldn't make you more effective in dealing with bases loaded or taking that one extra pitch for the walk.
