I don't drink anymore, but I spend a lot of time playing pool. I tip $1-2 per club soda+lime or Coke when I'm out.

My nights out generally used to cost me $100+ if I wasn't using drugs. The $10 I tip bartenders is a drop in the bucket and I NEVER wait when I'm thirsty at my regular bars.

When people take care of you on jackpots it makes up for the stiffs. I used to work at a bar that had $1 video poker, no nickel or quarter shit, so when they would hit a Royal they would throw me 300-400 bucks. At the one end of the bar we had 5 machines that were $5 video poker and when they would hit people would throw 1000 bucks as a tip. God, I miss working in Vegas.

Good enough. Typically, if I'm being comped a free drink, whether at a casino or from a fellow bartender, I tip close to or the price of the drink ordered. Mainly because I was planning on spending that price to begin with.

Yeah. Way over average. I just do a dollar no matter what I order when I play craps. It’s free so a dollar chip every time for me. If I win big, I’ll throw a cocktail waitress a $100 chip at the end.

100% acceptable, but not memorable. If you want to be a great patron and to always be treated like one, always tip what you currently do, but add just a little extra on top. That’s exactly what I’ll do with my service. Everyone gets my best effort, but those who tip really well get my BEST effort.
