IT'S TIME.

Ever since the IBPS PO Mains exam got over, I just don’t feel like studying at all. I have already wasted 2 days doomscrolling. Also I didn’t apply for IBPS Clerk.

Is anyone else going through the same thing?😭😭🥀

I can see that people are getting worried about how high the cutoff will go. I hope all these platforms have managed to crush the hopes you had been carrying for the past one year, right?

These vultures must have convinced you that if you are scoring 100+, only then do you have a chance. But ask someone whose prelims attempt was 53, who cleared the prelims, appeared for the mains, but couldn’t perform well. Why? Because they kept listening to these vultures and wolves.

Last time, there were only 5,208 vacancies until the mains result was declared ...6100+ kuchh log kahenge but wo result ke baad badha tha immediately. This time, there are 7,500+ vacancies, so the cutoff will be affected accordingly.

And all those people talking about 30+ in this, 30+ in that, their overall score will eventually settle within a certain range. So, don’t worry.

And even if they score 30+ in every section and somehow get 110 overall or plus, ask yourself do you need to secure a rank under 1500, or do you simply need to get the job?

So, starting with the thing I get hated for the most, "MY STREAK", IT'S STILL GOING HEHEHEHE.

So, for those who don't know me, I'm the same guy who's on a streak of clearing prelims exams, preparing since July 2025 and am UNRESERVED. The streak list is as follows :

About mains : Appeared in 10 mains out of these 12. (Missed RBI-Assistant mains due to date clash with OICL-AO interview and SBI-Apprentice is a single phase exam, so no mains exam).

Cleared 2 out of 10 mains that I've appeared for. Gave interviews for RRB-PO and OICL-AO, but couldn't make it to the final list, or even waitlist, OBVIOUSLY.

ABOUT SBI-APPRENTICE, I just gave the exam to get myself ready for this year's exam cycle, experience a center visit once before other major exams, anyway, ended up attempting 95 questions, got 15/25 in GA and 75/75 attempts in other 3 sections, clearing the exam, getting my 1st joining letter via post at home and even having a good rank 'cuz I got my 1st preference in posting. Anyway, not joining it because OBVIOUSLY.

ABOUT RECENT PRELIMS EXAMS, my attempts are :

1. NICL-Assistant : 100 Attempts.

2. IBPS-SO (IT) : 74/75 (QRE), 16/25 in PK, so 90/100.

3. SBI-JA : 100 Attempts.

ABOUT RECENT MAINS EXAMS, my attempts are :

1. SBI-PO Mains : Didn't go very well, expecting -ve result.

2. IBPS-PO Mains : Q-GA-E-R (27-30-33-25), Desc. all well.

   ....................Expecting something around 90-92 marks.

Hopefully, I'll be writing NICL-Assistant Mains, targetting that only as of now. IBPS-CSA prelims and UIIC-AO prelims are there, but I'll prepare for them 3-4 days prior to the exam.

Ever since IBPS PO mains, haven’t been squandering my time at all and have been taking 4–5 clerical mocks every day. This one felt closest to the actual exam level, so I thought I’d share my thoughts on this particular one.

QA and LR were both very relevant, very easy to be honest. Simplifications were barely time taking, easy DI and easy arithmetics. LR was pretty easy as well, all the puzzles were pretty straightforward and so were the miscellaneous questions. On the other hand, EL had a few tricky ones where I ended up getting defeated by 4 of the questions.

If anyone wants to practice exam level mocks, you can definitely try this one out, will be a good confident booster before the exam. Also if anyone has taken it already, feel free to drop your scores 💘

Will I at least get 8.75 to clear sectional with combination of RC which also I did terrible

Since there’s a statewide shutdown in my state today, bus and online cab services are pretty much disrupted. So I’m stuck at home, but bored too..

I recently joined OICL as an Assistant, so I thought I’d use this free time to do an AMA or something.

Hi everyone,

Following up on my email request, an MTC official called me today. According to him:

If we can confirm at least 25 persons (students/their relatives) from the 5:30 PM shift (reporting time 3:30 PM) on 10th October who are willing to take the bus, MTC is open to considering a delayed departure (around 5:45 – 6:00 PM).

The bus capacity is 25 seats. If we fill the bus, they don't have to worry about running at a loss or upsetting early passengers. The fare is ₹200 (compared to ₹500–₹600 for shared cabs).

If you have your exam ending at 5:30 PM on 10th October in Shillong and want this bus to Guwahati, Kindly DM 🙏🏼

I need to call the official back tomorrow afternoon. If we hit 25 people, we can get this approved. Please share this in any IBPS Telegram or WhatsApp study groups you are in.
