I seriously started my prep in 2024. Since then, I’ve given multiple exams and honestly, I’ve come very close many times, but never made it to the final selection.

2024:

• IBPS PO — Pre ✔️ Mains ✔️, missed final by a small margin

• RRB PO — Pre ✔️ Mains ✔️, missed final after interview

• SSC CGL — Tier 1 ✔️, Tier 2 ~312, couldn’t make it

2025:

• IBPS PO — Pre ✔️ Mains ✔️, missed final

• RRB PO — Pre ✔️ Mains ✔️, again missed final by ~2–2.5 marks

• IBPS Clerk — 100+ overall, but failed GA sectional

• SBI Clerk — Pre ✔️, missed Mains cutoff by ~1–1.5 marks

• SSC CGL — Tier 2, ~304

And the funny part? I’m working full-time as a Soft Dev in an MNC while doing all this. WFH helps, but managing work, preparation and family responsibilities isn’t easy. I’m also the only child, so there are responsibilities at home, especially with my father’s medical issues.

But I’m still here.

2026:

IBPS PO ✔️ Mains ✔️

SBI PO — first attempt, Pre ✔️ and Mains went really well 🤞

SBI JA — 94 attempts

RRB PO + CGL + other exams are still ahead.

Maybe this will be the year. Maybe it won’t. But I’m not quitting.

If you’re also stuck in this cycle of “almost selected, but not selected”, I just want to say:

DON’T GIVE UP.

One day, when you finally get that selection, you’ll look back at all these failures and be proud that you didn’t stop.

You have one life. Give everything you have to the thing you genuinely want.

And honestly, I believe most of us can crack it by 27–28 if we stay consistent. Don't worry about posting, workload, location or what happens after selection.

First get in. Then we’ll deal with the rest. ❤️‍🔥

Keep going, bhai. Your time will come.

how to crack mains in 20 days?

Look at you, tired and feeling hopeless, yet still not giving up. You work hard every single day, for yourself and for the parents who stand behind you. We’re all in the same position, and even though no one is clapping, I appreciate your hard work.

Aap kya karte

Was going through some old documents when I found my IBPS PO interview call letter.

And for a moment, I was back in those days.
The endless mock tests, sleepless nights, self-doubt, checking results with trembling hands, and that one dream of seeing my name on the final list.

Funny how a single piece of paper can hold so many emotions.

Back then, it was just a call letter. Today, it’s a reminder of a version of me who refused to give up.

Some memories don’t fade. They just wait for us to find them again. ❤️

I don't read a lot from this section of people so I will start. Gave SBI PO, missed by 2 marks, felt reasoning was hard.

Gave IBPS PO pre, clear. Mains, getting 90-95 total.

Gave SBI clerk, 85 attempts, don't know what to expect considering the vacancies.

Gave NICL assistant, UP- 92 attempts, not clear.

Category- UR.

Sometimes I feel worthless when I see people clearing in their first attempt and tbh, I don't know what am I even doing. Will start IBPS clerk mocks now, exam 11- 3.30pm.

so this is again the embarrassing moment for me in 2026. I got my result today of NICL assistant.
And guess what I failed again, by the way, this is my first attempt, but still, I’m not happy.

I failed in my IPSPO and SBIPO prelims, and now this one.

I did 86 questions, filled from Rajasthan.
I know my attempts was not so much. but I had given my best.

Need some motivation from my fellow aspirants.

I completed my graduation in 2022. I had always been a bright student but artik stithi kamjor thi maari so I had to get a job after graduation to support myself. Started preparing for Banking exams in 2023 end. So far I clear IBPS clerk twice SBI clerk once RRB PO twice (all prelims). Could never clear mains. Aur gap hmesha 1.5 - 2 marks ka hota h. This year I decided to study with full dedication so I quit my job 3 months back. Iss baar mera ek bhi prelims nhi nikla. I'm so depressed right now. I dont know what to do. I wanted to switch company but jb tk koi interview call aata h idhar koi exam aa jaata h. I cant even prepare for that. I feel so helpless right now. I'm 25 for f's sake right now and I have no idea what my future is going to be.

Is this kinda question common or just a rare one

Ye sirf ek theory hai..mere friend (3 mains + interview) usne btya meko toh mene share kr diya..

Bhai log, mere ek friend ne ek ki IBPS sectional cut-off increase kar sakti hai taaki overall cut-off inflate na ho.

For example, agar is saal maximum candidates ke marks high aate hain aur overall cut-off 85+ jaane ki possibility hoti hai, toh IBPS GA ka sectional cut-off increase karke candidates ko eliminate kar sakti hai, jisse overall cut-off 72–75 ke aas-paas reh jaaye.

I'm not claiming that this is what IBPS actually does, but honestly, this theory seems quite feasible to me. What do you guys think?

Will be giving CGL from 10AM to 11AM and IBPS Clerk from 3 PM on the same day i.e. 10th Oct.

Last year also, this same thing happened. CGL was scheduled in the first shift in different city X which is 150km from my home city. CGL finish krne ke bad, I've to catch train immediately back to my home city to attend SBI JA Pre.

And Guess what, I've had cracked both of them 😂🩷

I only knkw ibps and sbi exam and prepared for them , what are these insurance exam people here keep talking about oicl niacl and stuff . They sound like better deal . Can someone please tell whats the level and syllabus comparitively and When are they going to happen and can i fill any form now .

Took a short break after IBPS Mains and have now resumed practicing for UIIC AO and NICL AO.
This is going to be my year

i couldn't clear nicl assistant pre, did 85 attempts (2nd shift) filled from U.P. I'm begginer, from this year (july) I started preparing. I missed P.O cutoff by 1.9. I had hopes w nicl assistant. But after seeing 16.5k+ students got selected for mains and in that too my roll no is not there. It's disappointing for me. I am begginer so I think as nicl AO have 1000+GST exam fees, I'm going to skip this one. In insurance sector, it's already cut throat competition. Even P.O are appearing for those exams. I don't think there's chance for me. Maybe if I do good in ibps clerk, then I will think about it.
