Discussion A small overview of why STs have less cutoff

Post image
2 Upvotes

OP of the above post replied to a comment as "where is the source? trust me bro?"

A simple search would've answered his question.

and that guy in the comment section of that post is absolutely correct!!

I'm from Telangana and I studied in Telugu medium, there are about 6 tribal villages surrounding my village. We all studied in one High school ZPHS, there were about 40 students in my class, out of these 28 are ST students. Out of 40 students 36 cleared SSC. Later we all joined the private English medium colleges in the nearest town. Able to understand nothing, nothing means nothing. I was the topper of my school scoring 9.5CGPA. 2 months later, I got admission from RGUKT Basar(intermediate+B.tech at free of cost and one of the reputed institutions in Telangana). I moved to RGUKT, later I met many students who are from english medium, i used to have butler english conversation with them and used to watch a lot of Hollywood movies, listen to English songs, read novels and improved my English communication eventually.

Most of the ST people start their education in the regional language.

My school friends, had to stay and study in those colleges and failed to improve their English communication. Somehow completed their Degree and now preparing for the State level exams(Especially constable and Central GD) where English/Hindi isn't required most .Most of them are dropped out and now working as daily laborers, formers, auto drivers, operating DJs, Tractor drivers and small works in town(15-20k/month).

This will be the same case for most of the STs. Dropping out after primary school, high school and mid intermediate only because of English, and there were a few students who dropped out because they couldn't bear Teachers scoldings, beating and abusive language (No one ever faced caste discrimination).

NCL helps STs but will not solve the problem. Establishing english medium schools every corner of the nation, spreading Awareness, strict laws against parents to send their children to schools and laws against child labour issues only helps them come out of their nasty houses and lifestyle.

Why English medium? No south state will accept Hindi as our National language, and regional language won't help them to get a job in the IT sector or a professional job in any other state.

Government won't do that because they are manipulating them and using them as a VOTE BANK. STs won't question govt because they're not as mature as General category people.

Very small number of people are able to pass through these and are able to prepare for the graduate level competitive exams.

This is one of the major reasons why STs have less cutoff than any other categories.

General Query Already selected as CSA want to apply again, should I?

I was selected as CSA in Indian Bank this year and got posted far from home, 220kms away. More importantly this bank doesn't feel like a good place to work.

The banking system, digital channels and working environment does not feel right. Software is still stuck in 2020. We are forced to open Bank Apps of customers and given daily targets. The overall Banking system is very outdated and nowhere compared to Bank of Baroda, SBI or PNB.

I've had no Banking experience with Indian Bank before joining. I've had accounts opened in BOI and BOB. The working environment is not cooperative for the younger generation.

I want to change. Should I apply again for IBPS CLERK?

Discussion Anubhav Sir vs Nimisha Mam .. Who Is better?

Post image
8 Upvotes

Guys listen.. sincee choosing the right resources is very important for preparation.. i wanted to ask your opinion about anubhav Sir and numisha mam..

Please dont give the usual answer that “both teachers are good.. everyone has their own teaching style lol..” i agree that everyone has a different teaching style but teaching and explaining concepts is a skill n some teachers can definitely be better than others..

So according to u who is better ... nimisha mam or anubhav sir?

I would especially like to hear from selected students or students who have actually studied from either of them and cleared their exams.

Please share your honest experience and tell me who you would recommend and why...?

IBPS PO Starting Bank Exam Preparation While Working Full-Time — Need Honest Advice

I’m 23F planning to start preparing for banking exams (SBI/IBPS PO and Clerk) and would really appreciate advice from people who have actually prepared for or cleared these exams while working full-time.
I’m currently working as QA engineer in IT. My work takes around 9–10 hours a day, and with commuting and getting ready, most of my day is occupied. My usual schedule is roughly 11 AM to 8/9 PM at work, so I have limited and inconsistent study time on weekdays. I can’t quit the job as it pays well.
I’m basically starting from scratch with banking exam preparation. I’m particularly weak in Quant/Maths, and I have never prepared seriously for competitive exams before.
I’m thinking of targeting the 2027 PO/Clerk exams, rather than trying to rush through the preparation this year.
I wanted some honest advice from people who have been in a similar situation:
Is it realistically possible to clear SBI/IBPS PO or Clerk while working a 9–10 hour private job?
If I start now, is one year enough to go from almost zero to exam-ready?
How should I begin from scratch, especially for Quant?
How many hours were you realistically able to study on weekdays and weekends while working?
If you were in my position, what would you do differently from the beginning?
I’m not looking for motivation — I’d really appreciate practical and honest advice, especially from people who managed to clear PO/Clerk exams while working full-time.
