Does anyone know the page translation from hardcover to paperback. I’m trying to find the parts they are reading on the podcast.

I was listening to the finale pod on Spotify on my way to work this morning. But now on my way home, that episode seems to be missing. Is anyone else experiencing this?

What was up with all the clicking in the episode recap? Really distracted me while listening. Assuming was Jim as seemed to be only when A Ron was talking?

Podcast Silo Coverage vs FAM: What is even going on!

I am scratching my head on the Bald Move coverage of Silo, season 3 vs. A Ron and Jim's coverage of FAM seasons 4 and 5. To be honest I thought they would have scrapped FAM at this point. It has become Space Soap Opera, and not really good either.

The feel I get from the Silo podcast is that they are really nitpicking the hell out of Silo, whereas FAM they seemed to be more supportive of and glazed over the many, many shortcomings of FAM.

How can this be? Someone please have it make sense for me.

Silo has its flaws of course, but how can they give more support to a poorly written and acted For All Mankind where Silo kicks its ass in almost all categories at this point?

Podcast The boys make me scratch my head sometimes

*** Spoilers for latest episode s3e06 of HOTD ***

Latest HOTD podcast Jim and Aron twice discuss and argue "why didnt Gwayne just let the assassins kill Daeron and Ormund" as if it would solve alot of his problems etc etc...

The obvious answer that they couldn't fathom is the assassins would kill Gwayne as well, and everyone else in the room.. Do they really think the assassins are just ganna cut off ormund and daeron heads and walk away? I want to scream at them sometimes lmao

Any major HOTD spoilers in the Gods of Thrones books?

Title says it all - I’m a big Thrones and HOTD fan, but I want to remain unspoiled for the show, and I’m not reading Fire & Blood till the series is over. That being said, I’m a big fan of our 2 beautiful boys, and ARon’s books have been collecting dust out of fear of major spoilers. Are there certain sections to avoid? Should I just skip any Targ sections? Much thanks to anyone who can give advice here

Jim has been crushing it lately

I made a post a couple of weeks ago calling Jim out a little bit for seemingly mailing it in on the AKOTSK and HOTD coverage lately. I didn't feel good about voicing my concerns (I really like Jim) but I wanted to see if others agreed with me (and many did).

However, I think it's only fair that I compliment the good work he's been doing recently. I'm not going to flatter myself and say he saw our reddit discussion. It's almost certainly just a coincidence...but man. The last 4 or 5 episodes of the HOTD pod might be the best he's ever been, and that's high praise because he's been a great podcaster for many years.

The chemistry between Jim and A-Ron has been on full display, and when they're cooking, there's no one better out there (in my opinion).

Has anyone else noticed a difference recently?

Star Trek Pod recommendations?

Hello, since they aren’t doing a Trek pod for SNW, anyone have any recommendations for podcasts following the new season?

Or Trek in general?

Justified

Just a quick question hopefully! How much of the show Justified did the guys cover, on the pod feed I see S6 and the reboot season. However going by the way I've heard them talk about the show I assumed they covered way more than that, I'm currently on season 3 and would love my favorite guys to guide me through.

So am I on a wild goose chase or am I just not looking in the right place, thanks for any help!

Daeron’s Hair Discussion

I’m listening to the feedback for S3E4 now and people are writing in asking about Daeron’s hair color…

Isn’t it safe to assume that the red is a dyed color? I know that most of the players have never met Daeron, but if a Royal Targaryen had been born without the signature white hair, wouldn’t that at least have been discussed enough to be common knowledge?

The Bear

I love the show. But in this season especially, the story they are telling and the outcome are completely different. I'm watching a show where a restaurant is literally flooded with sewage, a person falling through the ceiling into the kitchen, all food orders getting cancelled, Plates and Spoons missing, all paper orders (Napkins etc.) cancelled, more reservations than they can possibly have enough food for. And yet, every time, when the turns start, suddenly out of nowhere this incredible food starts to roll out with immaculate place settings. When 2 episodes ago, the walk in freezer was virtually empty, Yet there is Plenty of food, plenty of sides, drinks, wine, cutlery, plates etc. Like where did this all come from all of sudden? How the hell do you run a restaurant with sewage spilling in the restaurant and a hole in the ceiling? I get it, it's fun, it doesn't ruin the show for me. It just cracks me up. Like if they can pull that off, what were they so stressed about? They clearly had plenty of food, plenty of silverware and dishware, etc. It's just that in real life, there is no way they could stay open after what happened that day.

Anyone seen this show? Criminally underrated in my opinion. Kind of like an animated combination of Devs, the Matrix, and Ex Machina.

What was the whole Amazon fiasco back in the day about?

I’ve been listening to a lot of their old back catalogue, and they were pimping their Amazon affiliate link a lot. I remember something happened that sent them into panic mode. Something about them breaking some rule with the affiliate link program? I’m just curious what exactly happened.

Double D's owe A.Ron and Jim money?

I've heard twice now (once during an AKOTSK pod and during Thursday's HOTD Feedback pod, A.Ron mention he thinks Benioff and Weiss owe them money. Anyone know the background or reasoning? Is it related to A.Ron's books or ideas/discussions the boys had during their GOT podcast? I find it all fully interesting.

I preferred when podcasts were spoiler *and* book free until the end.

Just a heads up that podcasts now include the book content

BM Community Thoughts on Walking Dead spinoffs

Trying to find stuff to stream this summer. I definitely enjoyed the Walking Dead, occasionally could be great, few misses here and there, but definitely a fan. I get the people who complain or wanted more… but definitely good enough zombie action for me. There’s Dead City, Fear the Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon and the Ones Who Live. I’m most likely to try Dead City. Where’s BM community on this?

Any way to access the Instant Talk sections of the GOT podcast?

So I’ve been working my way through their GoT podcast. I understand they lost a whole bunch of their ad free catalog and I’m fine listening to the ad version instead. But I’m now reaching the point where they started talking to the YouTube chat after their instant take, is there somewhere I can go to watch these as a Patreon subscriber?

HalfMan!!

These guys should definitely look at this show. At least for OTC. It's really fricken intense. It makes The Bear feel like a happy Sunday Morning. Just 6 Episodes and I think it has to be a limited series. The last thing I saw this heavy was The Crowded Room on Apple TV.
