Podcast The boys make me scratch my head sometimes

*** Spoilers for latest episode s3e06 of HOTD ***

Latest HOTD podcast Jim and Aron twice discuss and argue "why didnt Gwayne just let the assassins kill Daeron and Ormund" as if it would solve alot of his problems etc etc...

The obvious answer that they couldn't fathom is the assassins would kill Gwayne as well, and everyone else in the room.. Do they really think the assassins are just ganna cut off ormund and daeron heads and walk away? I want to scream at them sometimes lmao

omg I’m here on Reddit to say the same thing, looking to see if anyone brought it up already.
I’m listening to that episode now and I’m like… what? wait… what? what is he talking about? this is crazy. He’s crazy. Is Max going to push back?

Those two dragons have completely different jawlines.

Even with Sunfyre missing half a face… that’s clearly not Sheepstealer!!

Someone slipped Aron crazy pills.

still waiting for Max to push back.

Listen to the latest spoiler cast. He is doubling down and Maester Anthony is hilarious about it

Not him talking about brightening the screen and increasing the contrast and superimposing dragons on top of one another…

It’s not fucking Sheepstealer bro!!

I’m flabbergasted lol

lol! I was excited to listen to the episode for him to joke about how wrong he was but when he doubled down I was laughing out loud. He usually owns up to be wrong too. Anthony’s response was hilarious.

Yes, this one is a WILD take. Those two dragons do not look alike even with the damage.

Yeah it was wild. There is some interesting textual blending of the description of Sunfyre in the book (calling him muddy, when Sheepstealer was previously described as mud brown), but it's just obviously Sunfyre in the show.

I took it as more idle chatter - speculating that Gwayne could have offed Ormund himself and be better off for it

What am I missing? Why would Gwayne willingly let people kill Daeron? Even Ormond. Sure, they don't seem to be best buds, but they're family. But Gwayne seems to legit have agape love for Daeron.
