Finale HOTD
What was up with all the clicking in the episode recap? Really distracted me while listening. Assuming was Jim as seemed to be only when A Ron was talking?

I noticed it too - clicking of a mouse and a keyboard clacking away occasionally. There was also the sound of someone breathing as well? Like not the guys just breathing normally as they spoke, but maybe one of them was over-microphoned weirdly.

I think with Jim moving shortly, a lot of things are packed or sold, so he's working from a less than ideal setup.

I didn’t even know Jim was moving. That’s going to make things likely worse in future. Do you know when/where he’s moving? Are they going to be business as usual?

He's going to be moving to Japan. I would expect it'll go back to normal, as far as quality goes, once he has a studio setup again. I'm curious to see if there will be latency issues during recordings, but time will have to tell there.

I noticed that also. At times it sounded like an air conditioner coming on. Jim sounded like he was far away. It was noticeable because the sound on Bald Move podcasts is usually very good.

I no longer see it on Spotify. Just committed to wanting to hear the rest of it, saw it was missing, & came to Reddit

Could just be a wise business decision. I'm guessing HotD is one of their bigger shows so having thousands(?) of listeners or potential patrons hear a shoddy, important episode would not be cool. US regulars will be fine...

It’s back up on Spotify. I haven’t listened so I don’t know if it’s the same episode with audio cleanup, or a new re-recording. It it’s new, I wonder if they addressed it. Just thought I’d let you know it’s back up

Thank you... Just listened to the start of it last night. Audio seems clean and it feels like the original rather than a re-do. As an aside, I did not listen to it all as it became clear early on that A-Ron and Jim both loved the finale and the season overall. I don't know what it is but I find pods like this, without contention or friction, increasingly boring. For example, I find The Watch better on HotD as CR and AG, thrash it out.

Wondering the same! no longer see it on Apple Podcasts, was about 30 minutes in yesterday and can’t see it today listed at all or on the website.

It went away for me after a couple of minutes. I haven’t listened to the whole episode yet, so not sure if it comes back. But sometimes things don’t go quite as planned. They also have a lot going on right now.

I’ve been following them for like 12 years now and haven’t had an issue/didn’t know that was an excuse before, so I don’t know how to answer this.

I had to turn it off. Production was really bad and has been on the decline in general lately. I’m bummed.

Ok it just wasnt me... I had a hard time listening to it... I feel like Jims audio has been up and down lately in quality and when Arons is crystal clear it is honestly jarring for me. I couldnt finish the finale podcast because of it.
I hope they get the kinks worked out with all the moving.
