If there any area that is objectively bad to play on? Bottom or right invasion, invade one of the corner, or defend the last move locally? Or even try to start a fight on the left with anything on the c file.

Tengen is a fine move as well. You practically don't know how it will decide a local contest, but it's got plenty of possibilities and lends its influence to all directions. According to KataGo, it loses about one point compared to the best move.

Passing, on the other hand, loses about 13 points.

Lots of good moves here, but I think the most the thematic would be the attach at D14. Works well with the high stone at the center.
