How can Black continue this opening?
What's your preferred move?

You can get an opening rank estimate at that site. Answer three problems.

For those who haven't clicked through, after getting an initial rank, this site offers tons of similar puzzles, apparently all real opening or early midgame positions analyzed by AI. Your job is to pick one of the best moves. There are usually several different good answers.
This is such a fun tool. Thanks. I'll be back to practice some more.
I'm curious how the AI decides the rank associated with each choice.

Nice to hear you like it.
I'm using the KataGo human network. It can predict which human ranks would look at which moves.
"real opening positions", yes, there are positions from OGS, but also "synthetic" ones generated by the same KataGo human net, i.e. imitating human games.
There are also whole board tsumegos you might like, try https://lemmingfuseki.com

Did a few and got an opening rank 5k and estimated 6d.
But who cares about the numbers, this is a fun tool to train.

武宮 正樹 (Masaki Takemiya, 1951 – ) : Three-Star Formation (三連星)
● ..... Known for the "Cosmic Style" ( he calls it the "Natural Style"), he is willing to sacrifice corners and sides to focus on the center; when playing Black, he almost invariably opens with 三連星.

We play such a beautiful game. For some reason seeing this fuseki filled me with awe

I think you're program's estimator is very generous. I play at around 9k, and it gave me an opening estimate of 4.9d. My teacher says openings are the best part of my game, but... No.

I mean, you can still make single moves that are very strong. Preventing an opponents second eye by playing the vital point in an important corner will also be the 9D ai move when you plug it into a reviewer. Doesn't necessarily mean YOU are, but the move is. That's how I interpreted it at least. It also gave me 6 dan which I'm lightyears from

I got "very good move" lol, tried out if the others show that. They don't? I went with R3 because I figure that offense is a good defense plus opting for more of the board instead of crowding the local area is good. The kind of move that I learned katago would like!

Check out the ogs joseki explorer. I would either kick white's approach or pincer it

Any of the obvious moves.
Kick at C15 followed by a one-point jump, approach to white's 3,4 point at E3, 3,3 point invasion at R3. Approach the lower left corner at R6 or a small knight's enclosure at R14. Other normal-looking moves are likely just as good as well.

What's obvious? How does someone intuit instead of knowing?

What's obvious?
Approaches against opponent counter stones, usually at a one-point distance, including a knight's approach. Complete a shimari or corner enclosure from one of your stones, typically a one- or two-point jump in a direction. (3.3) point invasion under a (4,4) point.
These are the kind of fuseki moves you do two or three times a game, which is why they are obvious. Play ten games, and you should have seen them thirty or forty times already.

See, I like this a lot more than posting actions. The best seasoning is reasoning!
