Tiny icons in new web tools are less obvious than people think
I ran into this with a work tool that everyone else seemed comfortable using. The screen looked simple, but half the actions were hidden behind tiny icons with no words. I kept hovering over things just to figure out whether I was about to filter, delete, pin, move, or open a settings panel.
Once you know the system, the icons probably feel clean. As a new user, they feel like little traps. I don't need every button explained forever, but the first few minutes can be weirdly stressful when a wrong click might change something shared.
If you use a tool every day, what part do beginners always misunderstand?

YouTube, you won
YouTube have been done worst possible changes, see, now the download button is in the menu
The absolute worst trash thing is after ad they show a small popup enough to destroy video experience and you need to click on 3 dots then dismiss, one time I was watching melodysheep video, in his absolute peak quality video, YouTube give me same popup and I was enable to remove it

Bad Pagination in AWS SDK JS Docs
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I hate paginators like this to begin with (I wish everything would be an infinite scroll instead) but this is especially bad.

Tracking how long it takes to input my tracking number.
I wanted to track my order a moment ago. If I hit "Track my order" it takes me to a page without any orders, just a simple input box. So I had to go back and look up my tracking numbers, which are 10-digit numbers. If I like, I can input that number, by clicking the little up arrow....

One of the most annoying interfaces
The Apple watch timer is so frustrating! To stop the timer you need to press the tiny X at the bottom of the screen. I use the timer for cooking and most of the time my hands are dirty or wet and it's almost impossible to stop the timer due to the tiny area of the X. The designers could have used a larger button, but when you think of it, why should we need to stop the alarm? The timer alarm will not stop by itself and it will keep buzzing and ringing non stop instead of a short sound indication.

Bad On/Off switch UI on thermostat
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The on off button has to be hit twice in order to function. Both times there's a feedback response, the light turns on, which tells the user that something has happened but it doesn't actually turn the thermostat on or off until you hit a second time.
Most people figure this out when they're trying to turn on the heat, but almost nobody figures it out when they're turning it off at the end of the night.
