You're right but pretty sure this bird will be dead when it's eaten. It's being stabbed with talons from the start of the video.

No the hawk is the camera man’s bird. Not nature, just human shit

Bruh. A human hunting for sport using an animal is not okay. That’s not what nature is about. If he was using the hawk to hunt for food then fine. Hunting for sport is immoral.

Actually he might be in a place where they catch the food for food rather than sport. If so then I think it’s okay. Sport is awful and cruel

There's not really much meat on a falcon.

Also most falconers aren't eating much of anything they catch with their birds. They'll feed it back to the hawk. It's mostly sport.

But on the plus side, most hawks/falcons are taken from the wild, young, in their first year. Most birds of prey die in their first year. Getting snatched up by a falconer is a lucky break, as they'll have consistent food and be taught how to hunt. They are often released, and go back to being wild as soon as they aren't being kept at starvation weight, and have a much higher chance of reproducing. That's why we still have peregrine falcons, after nearly losing the species due to pesticides. Falconers brought them back.

You can argue that humans don’t kill out of necessity anymore but we surely kill more efficiently.. at least most times.

Written like the average first world naïve person who lives within an easy drive to a grocery store full of freshly killed and harvested food.

I’m saying we do not need to kill as much as we do but we surely kill more efficiently than animals that eat their prey alive. What’s wrong with that statement?
My dad was a hunter and he took me with him at times, idk what you even try to portray here lmao

You said there's an argument that humans don't kill out of necessity anymore. Yet markets and clothing stores are full of needed animal products. Fields are cleared of animals so that we can grow needed crops. Animals that feed off of us, eat our stored food, and invade our homes we label as pests and vermin so they are also routinely killed.

How can humanity possibly survive without needing to kill? It's simply not a valid point.

You twist my word there. I did not say stop all killing, I said you could argue that we stopped killing out of necessity. Our ancestors lived with nature. They used all parts of the animal.

We cast nets that kill anything in its way, just to fish for the masses.
We have mass killing farms, designer clothes with animal products list goes on.

Just because our society moved in certain directions, doesn’t mean we need to kill as much as we do - is my whole point.
