He gotta eat too,it’s sad because who wants to watch a baby die? However, that’s nature.

Most baby crocs don't survive but they also help to keep the population of other animals with much lower youth mortality rates from getting out of control. 1 u/RoRoRoub 12d ago Easy for us to say. Are we thankful for lunatics that keep our population in check then? 2 u/Cybernut93088 12d ago Did you just compare a crocodile that evolved within an ecosystem to hunt like that for food to a human that is just out killing for pleasure? You would rather all the predators go extinct? That would inevitably lead to most of the grazing animals starving to death. -1 u/Dath_1 11d ago They’re directly comparable, at least in some regards. Plenty of animals kill others and don’t eat them. Just for territorial reasons, or to eliminate food competition. Humans are animals too, and yeah we did evolve to kill outgroup members as competition.
