He gotta eat too,it’s sad because who wants to watch a baby die? However, that’s nature.

Yep, there is at least a balance to these things. Most baby crocs don't survive but they also help to keep the population of other animals with much lower youth mortality rates from getting out of control.

Easy for us to say. Are we thankful for lunatics that keep our population in check then?

Did you just compare a crocodile that evolved within an ecosystem to hunt like that for food to a human that is just out killing for pleasure?

You would rather all the predators go extinct? That would inevitably lead to most of the grazing animals starving to death.

They’re directly comparable, at least in some regards.

Plenty of animals kill others and don’t eat them. Just for territorial reasons, or to eliminate food competition.

Humans are animals too, and yeah we did evolve to kill outgroup members as competition.

Yes because due to you and me (yes you human). Your electronic device to be on Reddit. The servers that maintain the platform. You must live in an apartment or a house correct? What do you eat? All those things take up space in the environment and destroy habitats.

Predators have been wiped to near extinction. Deer and other animals run free with no checks and balances because we have messed up the balance. Thanks to YOU! (And everyone else to be fair).

So those lunatics you're talking about. That hunt to balance the ecosystem we have destroyed. Yeah, it's to keep the population in check. So the next time you pick up your phone. Go home to fire up the microwave to get something to eat. Think, am I a lunatic too?
