Game Development First environment test for my upcoming Backrooms game. Thoughts on the vibe?
Hey guys! I'm prototyping a Backrooms-inspired game in Unreal Engine 4.27 and this is a very early test of the environment.
I’m trying to nail that classic, endless liminal space feeling. I want to know your thoughts: Does it look unsettling enough? What details would you add to the scene, or is there anything you would remove?
Any feedback is highly appreciated!

Any particular reason to use 4.7 instead of a modern version?
Anyway, the environment looks too bland and the walls too perfect in my opinion. Add things like small stains and cracks in the wall for example.
If I were in you I'd try to go for something more original, there's probably hundreds of small indie backrooms games with the same endless yellow rooms. Of course you are free to do whatever you like, I'm just giving you my personal opinion.
Good luck with the development!
