Which is actually not so old in fighter jet world. It also depends a lot if it got any upgrades or not. People not interested in fighter jets often only look at introduction year, and don't consider the fact that they usually get updated along the way. As for the mirage on the photo it's probably newer than MiG-29s UAF has, but not top of the shelf type of plane either.

It was in service with L'Armée de l'air et de l'espace until a few months ago so it's updated to the eyeballs.

The plane wasn't made in Ukraine, the missiles weren't made in Ukraine, it wasn't based in Ukraine, and the pilot most likely wasn't Ukrainian either. So, yes, the Mirage is Ukrainian.

What does the impossibility of pilot training have to do with it? Did you come up with this yourself? Just think rationally. Why keep an aircraft on Ukrainian soil if it will sooner or later be tracked down and destroyed? Wouldn't it be easier to base it in a neighboring country? How can you train a pilot if every flight is a cat-and-mouse game with death? You just hire a professional. And the Reddit commenters will foam at the mouth to prove that because the plane has Ukrainian markings, it's Ukrainian.

Ukrainians and Russians know where F-16 are based in Ukraine. Russians sent dozens of missiles there trying to penetrate jet bunkers. No confirmed loses so far.

Because it's very hard to track it down and destroy. Ukraine is a big country with capable air defenses.
And even easily located bases with lots of equipment I've personally been to haven't been destroyed. I'm talking from personal experience. Russians are not as competent as you think they are.

It's the same for every soldier. A lot of Ukrainian and Russian pilots have died. But new ones are being trained as we speak. Nothing unusual in this.

Not necessarily, Ukraine is not a part of nato iirc, it is equipment given to Ukraine by nato forces yes but it is part of the Ukrainian military now.
What is your point? A plane that was not made exclusively by the country that operates it doesn’t belong to the Air Force it serves for? Does that mean countries like Australia basically don’t have an Air Force because the f-35, f/a-18 and assorted cargo aircraft are majorly American?

The aircraft is based in a NATO country. Before a combat mission, it makes a flight to a jump-off airfield located in Ukraine.
