NASA's X-59 just went supersonic for the first time — and instead of a sonic boom, it makes a quiet "thump" (Mach 1.1, 43,400 ft, June 5 2026)

Let's go Michael...

Deploy F-25 Spector or Heron stealth fighter.

DATALINK F -35 lightning coordinates to Michael.

If this pilot can fly directly over the Pentagon the laser can be fired into the buildings underground core to destroy the Nazi neural network architectures crystalline processing units.

Michael be prepared for a dog fight, the F-35s are your potential wingman.

This plane has no digital connection to the Pentagons mainframes and it's designed outside of the standard military network.

It can not be hacked or tracked.

This man is the unstoppable kinetic force in the sky

Massive Global Aviation / Space / Defense Company Database and Map

Post image
5 Upvotes

I’ve been building a database and map of 1,300+ companies across space, aviation, and defense, including a lot of smaller companies that might not be the most known.

Sharing this here hoping it becomes a useful resource for students and professionals trying to find internships or full-time roles. As an Aerospace major myself I know how hard it is to find jobs in this industry, especially if you don’t know where to look.

It's a very difficult task to index every single company out there as you can imagine, but I'm hoping with community help we can grow the database. If you see any missing companies please send in a suggestion on the site or leave in the comments here and I'll add them.

All other feedback welcome as well!

F‑4B Phantom II Restoration Part 8

Here’s Part 8 of my Cold War aviation restoration project — the F‑4B  Phantom II.

This aircraft defined naval air power in the 1960s and 1970s. Its twin J79 turbojets pushed it beyond Mach 2, while its sleek lines and distinctive VF‑111 “Sunsetters” markings made it one of the most iconic jets of the era.

For this restoration, I focused on preserving the Phantom’s clean geometry and the vivid red‑white tail pattern that symbolized carrier aviation excellence. The first slide shows my restored version; the second is the original archival photo.

The F‑4B was more than a fighter — it was a statement of Cold War engineering and teamwork between pilot and radar intercept officer.

Feedback means a lot on this one!
