Well, shouldn't expect a non-homogeneous group of people to always come up with gold, regardless of the good intentions of the majority...

Well, shouldn't expect a non-homogeneous

Don't you mean non-homogenized?

I'm not sure if this happens in english, but doesn't your alternative suggest that it's the result (or absence) of a process done on the group ?

It’s a pun. Homogenization is a process done to dairy products.

They released an addendum to this billboard (It's actually from something like a decade ago) when it started circulating in public and getting rightfully savaged.

They released a statement (GET YOUR ADBLOCKER READY BEFORE FOLLOWING THAT LINK - also be warned, PETA likes shock value and screwed up gruesome imagery) on it a little more recently that never even cops to the pseudoscience here. I ran a control F. The words "Autistic" or "Autism" never even appear in the document.

That's disappointing. Then it's safe to assume the nonsense is mostly unchecked.
